CHAPTER 30

Wedding was finally over. And our Avni Mehta is now Avni Neil Khanna. Beautiful wife of IPS officer Neil Khanna and Daughter in law of Khanna family.

It was time for Avni to leave for Khanna mansion. Even though everyone was happy but still the thought of their daughter leaving their home made Mehtas sad. But Dadi was having a contented smile on her face. She is very much happy that the wedding happened with out any drama. She really thought that Avni's exam will bring some havoc in their marriage. But unknown to dadi,  her son in law already made some plans regarding this. After all he couldn't afford his avni to miss her exam.

Bebe: we will now leave. We have to do grihapravesh within 4 hours. But there will be traffic this time.  So we will leave now.

Dadi: ok harleen ji.
Avni... Come here..

Dadi called avni and hugged her.
Dadi in avni's ear.

Dadi: I knew you won't let me down. Our family's name is in your hands. Don't let any stupidity of yours ruin our pride. Be a good daughter in law and stay at home. Take care of Neil and family. Ok??

Avni just nodded. Everyone thought that dadi is just hesitant to let avni go.
After they broke the hug. Neela, aman ,ashish ,ketan, hetal, riya, juhi, vidyut karan.. Aman was literally crying his heart out seeing his sister going. Everone hugged her. Avni threw grains behind while walking and neela collected it with pallu of her saree. Neil was holding avni's hand. They reached car. Neil made avni sit inside the car. And bidded bye to everyone. Ashish, Aman
And ketan pushed the car forward.
Everyone was doo much involved in avni's departure, they failed to notice Neil indicating something to juhi and vidyut. As the car started moving juhi and vidyut sneaked from there. But to their bad,  dadi saw all those exchange.

Swetha bebe and prakash left in one car. Avni and neil was behind in another car. Slowly everything faded to avni.  She accepted the fact that she is now daughter in law of Khanna's.  She was slowly weeping. Neil saw this but he slowly bought something from behind the car and forwarded it to avni. Avni looked astonished to see neil forwarding her book. Even with her face covered with veil, neil could see her staring at him.

Neil: stop staring at me. don't you want to revise before exam ?

Avni: neil...?

Neil: yes avni.. What you thought? Why we left this early. We have 30 minutes to reach your exam centre. Now its only 10:30 am your exam will start at 12. Then 1.5 hours exam. And we have 1 hour to reach our home. Plan is all set. Juhi and Vidyut will be there with your hall ticket,id proof and other things.

Avni cried in happiness. Her heart was filled with soo much love and nameless emotions for neil. The man sitting in front of her is now not less than an angel for her.

Avni : thank you soo much neil.. I don't know how to say thank you. You did soo much for my dream... Thank you neil.. I owe you a lifetime

Neil: Avni...my sweet wifey.. Your dream is now our dream. So rub those tears away and read your book.

Avni smiled and started reading her book. Neil in between was listening to her and scrolling through his phone.

Soon they reached exam centre.

Avni : Neil.. My dress and ornaments.. They won't let me go inside with all these things.

Neil: dont worry i already spoke to the security team here. This types of situations happened earlier also. So they understood. A lady officer will be there to check you and a special invigilator will be there for you especially because of this. So no need to take tension. Be cool and write your exam. I will wait for you here.  Now run...

Juhi took avni towards the security team and gave all the things. After that juhi left from there with vidyut after saying bye.
When avni entered exam hall,  everyone was looking at her. Since her face is covered no one realised that it is avni. As neil mentioned there was special invigilator for her. Soon the exam started and she wrote her exam very well. Outside neil was waiting for her inside the car. That's when neil got call from swetha

Swetha: hello neil..

Neil: yes Mom

Swetha: is avni still attending exam?

Neil: yes mom.. Exam will be over in 10 minutes. We will come there directly after that.

Swetha: ok tillu.. We will be waiting..

Neil: ok mom.. Inform bebe and dad also.

And they cut the call. That's when the bell rang. Students were coming out one by one. Some were happy.. Some were sad.. Neil was Searching for his bride in between this. Soon he saw her coming out. Since her face was covered he couldn't see her facial expressions. But when avni was walking tiwards the car,  both avni and neil noticed that everyone is looking at her and murmuring may be because they are First time seeing a bride coming out of examination hall.
Neil went forward and grabbed her hand. Both entered inside the car and he asked the driver to start the car.

Once they settled, Neil asked

Neil : how was your exam avni ?
Was it easy ? I know you will get first rank. Do you want anything to eat or drink?

He was bombarding her with questions. Avni smiled seeing Neil's care for her.

Avni: neil... Neil... Calm down...
Yes exam was easy and i wrote it very well. I dont know about first class but i won't fail in exam i m sure about it. And I m not hungy. I don't want anything.

Neil also smiled scratching behind his head. Avni saw this and smiled forgetting everything.
And the car was moving towards Avni's new home.

This was the most difficult part for me to write till now. Finally 30 chapters... I am soo happy that everyone loves this story.
On this occasion i remember something.  It was like 2 years before someone asked in a story to give ideas a new story. I told her my opinion and she said its quite normal story. She wanted more beautiful story thread. I don't remember who was that exactly but i would like to thank her for rejecting it that day. That's how this book is born. My baby...

Don't worry avneil in this story have lot of things to tell. We will go through all the ups and downs of their life. It will be easy for everyone to relate because in every home there is one avneil.
