Keep Falling For You

Chapter 6 (PART 2)

Caspar's POV

"Mummaaa!" A beautiful little  girl yelled as she ran out of the room and bolting straight for Liv, wrapping her arms around her neck as she picked her up.

"Hey baby - girl, did you have a good morning?" I watch Liv ask Belle, who nods and snuggles her head into the crook of Liv's neck her eyes peeping over her shoulder looking right back at me. She was perfect, she had Liv's bluey - green eyes and blonde curly hair. She was absolutely gorgeous and I can't believe how selfish I have been. 

"Mumma?" Bell asks lifting her head up and pointing at me, as I shuffle awkwardly. 

"Yes Gorgeous?" Liv asks turning around so she could see who Belle was pointing at, she swapped Belle onto her other hip so that she could look at me properly. 

"Who dat?" Belle asks in the cutest of voices still pointing at me as I heard Liv sigh awkwardly. 

"This is Caspar. This is your daddy." Liv tries to explain as Belle admires Liv when she spoke. I wish I had a bond with Belle like Liv did. 

"Dadda?" Belle asks reaching her arms out towards me for a hug as Liv sighs. 

"Yes baby." Liv replies as she hands her over to me nodding at me to take her. 

"Hey gorgeous." I say to Belle as I take her from Liv arms.

"Dadda." Is all Belle said to me as I felt her snuggle into the crook of my neck, she was pretty smart for her age. I looked ahead of me and frowned when I had noticed that Liv was walking out the door. 

"Come on, let's go find mummy." I tell Belle as we begin to walk towards my car. Wondering why Liv had left. 

I strapped Belle into her car seat, I didn't actually have one, Liv had to give me her one that she had in her car to put in mine as we went out in my car. I noticed Liv sitting on the curb with her head in her hands. Making sure Belle was alright I put on a kids show on YouTube on my phone and walked over to Liv. 

"Hey..." I begin to ask as I place an arm around her, frowning when I felt her flinch under my touch. "What's wrong?" I ask leaving my arm round her shoulders. 

"I-I feel so stupid." Is all she tells me her long hair falling in front of her face, being the gentleman I am I tuck her fringe behind her right ear and it was only then that I had noticed she was crying. I also noticed that she only stuttered when she was nervous, she was exactly like me in so many ways. 

"Why?" I ask confusion written all over my face, as she shakes her head no. Sighing I decide not to push it any further. "Come on, let's get back." I tell her standing up and offering her my hand to help her up which she refuses and gets up herself. 

Liv's POV

Why was I acting this way? 

I look behind me as we drive back to my mums house and Belle was giggling away at her favourite tv show that Caspar had put on her phone for her. How did he know her favourite show?

I didn't get why I was acting this way. It's just so hard to see how well Caspar is bonding with Belle straight away,  I can't forgive and forget everything that has happened between us. I want him to have that special bond with her like I have but it's going to take a lot for me to be able to trust him again. 

"Liv?  Earth to Liv?" I was brought back to life with Caspar waving his hand in front of my face and worry written on his. "Liv? I think your phone is ringing?" He tells me as he was proven right when I could feel the vibration coming from my pocket. 

"Hello?" I ask confusion in my voice since I didn't look at who was calling me.

"Olivia! Where the hell have you been and why did you leave like that? I have been worried as sick about you and where are you now?!" Beth yells down the phone as a ping of guilt enters my body.

"I-I'm sorry Beth I had to leave, you know why I left." I begin to explain to her as I could feel eyes burning onto me watching me as he drives. "I really am sorry." 

"I would have understood, I could have gone with you. Where are you?" She continues to ask down the phone.

"Beth, you know why I didn't tell you because you need spend time with  Joe and I didn't want to be the one to stop that. I am on my way back to my mum's house with Belle and Caspar." I tell her biting my lip knowing exactly what she was going to say.

"You're with Caspar?" She exclaims loudly as I sigh. 

"Yes, I'll explain later when I call you." 

"Nope, no need I'm already at your mum's so hurry your ass up you have some explaining to do." Is all she tells me leaving me in complete confusion as she hangs up the phone. 

"Everything alright?" Caspar asks as I sigh. I know he is trying but it's going to take a lot more than to get me to open up to him again. 

"Y-yeah Beth says shes at my mums?" I tell him as he raises an eyebrow at me. 

Caspar's POV

"Come on, Gorgeous." Liv says taking my phone off Belle and it passing it to me whilst she unstraps her and gets her out of the car. 

"I'm going to take her up for a nap." She tells me as we walk into the front door. 

"How'd it go mate?" Alfie asks placing a hand on my shoulder scaring the living daylight out of me, as they all burst out laughing. I shrug my shoulders as I watch Liv walk up the stairs with Belle. "It can't have been that bad." He continues as I look at him confused walking into the front room.

"What are you all doing here?" I ask seeing Zoe and  Beth sat on the sofa,  Joe and Alfie standing by the door. 

"I was so worried about Liv after how she just left us I told them we had to come back. How has she been?" Beth asks with worry written all over her face. I make a mental note that I must talk to her alone at some point and find out what really has happened whilst I have not been in Liv's life. 

"I don't know." I begin to say running a hand through my hair. "It went really well with Belle, she's the most perfect little girl any dad could ask for. But Liv has shut me out completely and I don't know what to do." I explain tugging at my hair which was something I did when i was stressed.

"Can you blame her?" Beth asks raising an eyebrow at me as Zoe nudges her. 

"No I can't. But I miss her. I want her back into my life." I explain to the others who were sat there listening to every single word. 

"Casp, you know it's not going to happen that quickly." Beth replies frowning and I knew she was on Liv's  side but she understood what happened and had heard my side of the story. 

"What can I do?" I continue to ask them running out of ideas. 

"Well, Liv's  mum has left town for a few weeks to go on a business trip, she told me we were more than welcome to stay here. So we have a bit of time to work on something alright? I know Liv, she will forgive you but it's going to take time alright?" Beth continues to explain as I sigh. I just wanted to hug her and tell everything was going to be alright. 

"I guess..." I reply not knowing what else to say.
