Beth's POV
"So where's Caspar?" I ask as Joe and I take a seat at the table in the restaurant. On the way back Joe had messaged Zoe and Alfie asking if they wanted to meet us, so we could figure out a plan to help support both Liv and Caspar. Of course they had agreed.
"You haven't heard?" Zoe asks frowning at the two of us and sharing a glance with Alfie.
"I haven't heard what?" I asked slowly not sure if I was going to like the sound of this.
"Caspar's already gone. As soon as you and Joe left; he packed his stuff up, got into a car and said he was going back to get Liv." My eyes widened. This wasn't going to be good.
"Guys, we need to get there before he does or at least warn Liv that he's coming." I try to explain to them all without giving to much away, I knew Joe knew now. But Liv would kill me if she knew everyone had found out and it wasn't her to tell them. Especially since she's kept it quiet this long.
"Beth. What do you know that we don't know?" Zoe asks as I sigh. I knew I was going to have to tell them all.
Liv's POV
"Liv?"
"Yes mum." I reply to my favourite person. Belle was at nursery; she only did mornings so I could spend the afternoon with her after I had finished work however I still had a week off.
"When did you get home?" She asks coming over to sit with me on the sofa.
"Late, last night." I muttered sourly. "Sorry, I didn't call or anything I had to get out of there. It was too hard."
"I know honey. Do you want to talk about it?" She continues to ask and I know her intentions were good. I just didn't feel like talking so I shook my head no. She sighs.
"What?" I ask her raising an eyebrow. Was she not going to force it out of me like she usually does?
"Will you do me a favour?"
"Anything for you mum, you know that." I tell her. It was true and I saw her smile slightly.
"Can you go into the kitchen and make me a cuppa?" Is all she asks me as I raise an eyebrow at her.
"Wait? You want me to make you a cuppa? Why can't you do it?" I question, I didn't mean for that to sound rude.
"Please." She sighs tucking a strand of her long black silky hair behind her ear. "For me." I will never understand how she can use the puppy eye look and get away with it.
"Fine." Is all I say as I get up and make my way into the kitchen to put the kettle on.
"Liv?"I stop dead in my tracks. No. It couldn't be, I thought as I turned around at the familiar figure.
"C-Caspar?" I stop dead in my tracks. "W-what are you doing here?" He was wearing a pair of his black skinny jeans, white t shirt that hug his torso and again why am I checking him out? I shake my head and walk over to the kettle to put it on.
"Why did you leave?" He asks coming up next to me with concern written all over his face.
"Why? Caspar, you know why." I tell him standing onto my tiptoes to reach the cups in the cupboard but then frowning. Why does mum put them up so high?
"Here." I raise an eyebrow at Caspar. "Let me." He continues coming rather close to me using his right hand to reach up three mugs.
"Thank you." I blush quietly tucking a hair behind my ear. It was crazy, even though so much has happened between us he still gives me butterflies inside my tummy like when we first met.
"Look, Liv, I don't know what you're going to say about this, but how do you feel about us going out for lunch today before picking Annabelle up? Give us a chance to talk?" In a way Caspar asks but tells me as I sigh.
"I don't know." Is all I reply to him as I pick up my mums tea and make my way back into the living room.
"Please Liv?I know you want to."
"Caspar, it's not that I don't want to. I do. But how can I trust you?" I ask turning round to face him, however I didn't realise that he was right behind me so I bumped into him. "Sorry." I smile sheepishly.
"Look, just come out for lunch with me and I will come with you to pick Belle up. Just listen to me, let me see Belle and if you don't believe me then I will leave you alone." Caspar continues to tell me as I take a deep breath trying not to let my emotions get the best of me, especially with being as close to him as I was right now.
"F-fine." I manage to spit out looking at him; my eyes trying to glance over to his lips. "Give me ten minutes to get ready and I will go out with you. We have to pick Belle up in two hours."
Caspar's POV
"Caspar?" Michelle, Liv's mum asks as soon as she leaves the room. "What are you really doing here?" I turn round at the small woman who was standing in front of me.
"What do you mean?" I ask her sitting next to her on the sofa. Even though so much has happened between Liv and I, I still saw her like a second mum to me. I could tell her anything.
"I'm back, because I can't live without her." I begin taking a shaky breath. "I made a really big mistake and if I could turn back time I would. I want to make things right, I want to be there not just for Liv, but for Annabelle too." I explain to her. I knew she knew what had happened between us.
"Caspar, I've seen the way she looks at you. It was the same look she had when you two first started talking. That's not going to change but I also know what happened between the both of you, it takes a lot for her to trust someone especially a lot of trust to give someone a second chance. It's going to take time. You can't give up. Show her that, and I'm sure she will accept you back in." She explains to me, I was about to question what she was saying when the most beautiful girl stood in the doorway. She was wearing her favourite white lace skater dress, black biker jacket, tights and boots. I smile at the fact that no matter what the weather is, she always manages to find an opportunity to wear a dress.
"You ready to go gorgeous?" I ask her getting up from my seat and making my over to her, I saw her blush a little.
"Y-yes. Let me grab my purse and I will be ready to go."
