Keep Falling For You

Chapter 8

Liv's POV

I could feel the warmth summer breeze against my cheeks. Caspar and I were in Africa, visiting his mum for a week and he thought that we could spend our one year anniversary there. Today was in fact our one year anniversary, he wanted to take me out on a surprise date which of course I loved that idea. Only downfall was that I had to blind - folded.

"I swear to god Casp, if I fall I will not be happy." I chuckle gripping onto Caspar's right arm as I felt his chest move up and down at the comment I made.

"Babe, If you fall I will catch you. We're here now." Caspar replies as he takes off my blindfold and I gasp at the sight that stood before me. He had taken me to a nearby field, set up a beautiful picnic with all my favourite foods including my favourite toppings on a pizza, chocolate covered strawberries and pretty much all my favourite food I could think of.

"Caspar" I begin as I turn to face him with a massive smile on my face. "This... Is beautiful..." I continue to say to him as he looks down at me.

"Anything for you. Come on let's go and eat." He offers my hand, with no hesitation I take and we make our way over to the beauty that lay before us.

"I did not!" I exclaim as I fall onto my side cracking up with laughter. We had just spent the last hour eating all the food that Caspar had made and now we were going over some old memories we had from when we first started going out.

"Liv..." I hear Caspar begin once I had managed to regain my breathing again.

"Yes?" I ask raising an eyebrow wondering why he suddenly had gone all shy on me.

"I – I love you."I could feel myself smiling.

"I love you Casp, forever and always."

"Forever and always"

I woke up to the sound of my little girl's voice running through my ears. Quickly chucking on my dressing I ran out of my room and made my way across the hall into hers. There she was stood up holding onto the rails and crying her eyes out, she looked really hot and I started to panic.

"Beth!" I yelled grabbing hold of my little girl and checking her temperature. Within the space of a few minutes I heard what sounded like a thousand footsteps running into the room.

"What's going on?" Beth asks wearing her Harry Potter pyjamas rubbing her eyes. That was when I realised that it was 5 o clock in the morning and I had woken everyone up.

"I – I woke up to Belle screaming, S-She's really hot and I think something's wrong." I replied pacing around the room, running a hand through my hair as I take a glance over at Caspar who looked extremely worried.

"R-right ok." Beth begins taking a deep breath and looking over to the others. "Caspar will you be able to take Liv and Belle to the hospital now and we will catch up with you in the other car?"

"Of course. Liv what do we need to take with us?" Caspar asks stepping forward keeping an eye on the little girl who would not stop crying and wriggling in my arms.

"A spare pair of nappies and maybe a change of clothes to keep her cool." I reply bouncing my little girl up and down trying to find her favourite dummy. #

"Great. Ok you sort Belle out I'll grab the things we need and we will make our way up there." Caspar replies grabbing my already made bag I had for Belle whenever I took her out. I nodded and made my way downstairs to get my shoes on. I didn't care if I was going to the hospital in my pyjamas right now I just wanted to make sure my little girl was ok.

Caspar's POV

"Liv, she's going to be ok." I say glancing over at her from the driver's side as we were now five minutes away from the hospital. Belle had fallen asleep as soon as we left the house; she had worn herself out from all the crying. "Are you ok? You look like you haven't had any sleep?" I ask and it was true. She had dark shadows under her eyes and bloodshot eyes. I always knew when Liv had been sleeping very well.

"I'm fine." She replies looking out the window as I sigh.

"Liv... I want to be there for you and Belle. Please... Talk to me..." I tell her carefully placing my left hand on her right knee as I was driving. I frowned when I felt her tense up at my touch.

"Caspar..." Liv sighs as I feel her looking at me. "What do you want me to say? Right now I just want to make sure Belle is ok. And how can I let you be there for Belle and I when every time I close my eyes I picture you with HER!" She replies as I feel myself shocked that she was finally starting to open up to me."

"Liv..." I begin trying to think of the right words to say. "You have to understand what happened that night. It was all a misunderstanding. Please? Let me explain?" I answer taking a glance at her as we pull into the car park.

"Caspar, right now I just want Belle to be ok. B-but maybe we can talk later or later on in the next few days." She replies smiling at me slightly tucking a piece of her hair behind her ears.

"Whenever you're ready." Is all I say to her as she gets out of the to grab Belle.
