chapter 13

Kyle's POV
    I got the feeling that maggie was really taking us all in as family. I mean she gave everyone in the pack a money card and even went and got almost every couple and senior a car... Like she went crazy with money, but by the time she finished everything looked and everyone acted like this pack had been here for YEARS! Even though everything seemed fine I was worried about money.. I mean i had no idea where our money was coming from. So I decided to ask maggie, which what I'm going to do now.
   I walked into maggies study and saw her sitting there with piles on top of piles on top of piles of paperwork. I had no idea what this was about and now I was beyond curious what is going on.
   "Hey baby." I said in a lower tone as to not scare her. "Oh hey I didnt hear you come in." She said looking at me briefly and then back to the paper work. "Hey I was wondering?" I started, and with this she sat back and looked up at me. If you didn't know better you would say she was the alpha with all this paperwork and the look on her face. "How are we able to afford getting everyone clothes and cars and everything and still be able to live?" I asked, curiousity etched across my face. "Well do you remember my businesses I told you about?" She asked with her elbows on the chair arms and her hands laced together. "Yes...?" I said slightly not remembering.
     "I own 5 businesses which pour in thousands of dollars each week. Which i have a meeting coming up soon." She said, the last part was more to herself. "Anyways thats how we are able to get everyone new clothes and cars.. I had millions of dollars and still have money coming in. No one has to worry about anything. I promise i have everything under control." She finished. With that she smiled at me and checked her computer before going back to paper work. She seemed so focused it was so hot to me. I dont know why. Something about her is just so amazing. Well i guess I better make sure everyone is ready for the first day of school tomorrow.
    The first day is always the hardest but it shouldnt be so hard since there is so many of us. I mean we will be a little under half of the school. I walked around the house checking on everyone, i didnt have time to do this before with all the paperwork i had. I wonder of mags would keep all the paper work and just give me the smaller amount. I mean it is her house and money we are using for the pack. I tried to protest but the pack had nothing without her and that was a fact. She brought this pack back from the dark hole we had sunk into. After the king attacked we all went into depression and hurt ourselves. Luckly hardly any more of us had died. This place was our saving grace. She was our angel. I just hope we can keep this. As i walk around I notice everyone is smiling and happy. Some of the older guys are play fighting out back. I walked into the room the teens hang out in. I hadnt been in here since they started hanging out in here. It used to be a den of some sort but now it was a game room. There are all kinds of consoles, along with card games, board games, and other games. I swear they had got it all. As i walked in several bowed and i just waved everyone off and sat on the floor in front of the tv and couch. Once they finished that round one of them handed me a controller with a smirk. I smirked back as I took it, "oh your on." I said turning back to the tv.

  Maggie's POV
     I was drowning in paper work, after about a hour I decided to talk a walk. I just let my legs take me were ever. I noticed I was heading towards the door to the back, guess i wanted to run. I mentally laughed and then I stopped when i came to the new found game room. I looked in and meet with one of the teenagers eyes and he looked from me to someone sitting on the floor. "Thats not just anyone magpie! Thats Kyle." Eva said and i could feel her roll her eyes. The teenager from before, Isaac i believe, handed kyle the controller with a smirk. I watched as kyle smirked back and took it. I watched them play no one really noticing me which I was happy for, I loved watching kyle be so carefree and actually acting like the teenager he is. Isaac won and he jumped up turning around amd screamed "I beat him! Did you see that Luna! I beat him." Kyle jerked around to look at me, I think he broke his neck doing so. I giggled shaking my head, "good job isaac." I said. With that I turned and finish walking outside. I got to the woods and stripped quickly shifting into my blood red wolf. I was one of the rarest wolves according to the moon goddess. Because I wasnt the normal red you would see on a wolf, no it was as if someone soaked my fur in blood. I loved it, I guess you can call me sadistic. Just as i was about to go for a run, the door to the house opened. The guys from the game room, including Kyle, walked out and stopped dead in their tracks when their eyes found me. Everyone directly went into defense mood. I stood a little taller and starred at them. All of a sudden I heard kyle through the mindlink. "Where are you!" He demanded. I rolled my eyes amd went to walk away when I heard one of the guys, jackson, "did that wolf just roll its eyes at us??" He asked confused and completely dumbfounded. I huffed at the remark. "Maggie! There is a rogue on the grounds tell me where you are!" Kyle mindlinked. They thought i was a rogue.. Really.. Then again they havent seen my wolf before. All of a sudden pack members surrounded me.. Ready to attack. "Stand down." I ordered through mindlink. No one budged. "I said stand down!" I snarrled baring my teeth at kyle. "Maggie?" Kyle said out loud. "Luna?" Everyone joined in. I just rolled my eyes at them, "nah imma tell you to stand down on a rogue." I minklinked sarcastically. "Turn around" I ordered everyone did as told except for Kyle. I rolled my eyes at him and shifted back and getting dressed. I could feel his eyes on me the whole time. With a huff I walked off and up into my special place, looking over the land. I had shut off all mindlinks and was in complete peace. I turned off all my senses. I just wanted a few minutes to be by myself and not worry about anything. 
    I dont know why them thinking I was a rogue bothered me so much. I mean I know that they haven't seen my wolf before but it just aggervated me. Especially Kyle. He should have known it was me, at least i thought mates could. Ugh this is the reason I hate growing up outside the werewolf world... I knew nothing of how things were supposed to act or feel or anything really. Just then, I heard someone talk to me. It was...
