Ghost Pack

chapter 28

Maggie's POV
     We just finished breakfast and now its time for training. Alex and I walk into the field that is now filled with our pack. Ours.. I like the sound of that. I look over at him and watch him look around. I don't really look at him much. Like really look at him. Because everytime I do, it feels like time stops and everything focuses on him. He does things to me that I dont completely understand yet.
    Closing my eyes I focus back on our pack. A small smile on my face. "Alright pack, today we are training together. Nothing to big. Just exercises and hand to hand combat. No wolves and ghost pack members... Play fair." Alex says, the last part coming out in a sigh. "Pick someone from the other pack to train with." He finishes. "We do play fair!" I whine. Alex turns to me and smirks. "No.. Dont do it." I say my eyes going wide. The his hands hit my sides and he begins tickling me. I let out a loud laugh and begin squirming. After what feels like forever he stops and smiles at me. "Ok start training." I say, my face red from laughing. Today feels good. I feel amazing. And having our pack together, it just seems perfect. It feels so right. "Luna?" One of his pack member calls. "Yes love?" I say back to her. "Um.. I would like to train." She says in a small voice. "Ok so lets find you someone to train with." I say back in a sweet voice. She gives a small forced smile. I look around and it seems that everyone has a partner. "Hm no more pack members." I say thinking. Then i hear a laugh. "Like she could train anyways shes a good for nothing bitch. Dont waist your time." One of the pack members says. Everyone stops training and laughs. Before anyone could move i was infront of him, and alex was behind me. "What did you say." Alex growls. "And why is she a "good for nothing bitch"?"  I ask him, gritting my teeth to keep calm. "Well look at her, not only is she weak but shes a chick also. I mean chicks shouldnt be on the field, they should be home carrying pups and making us food." He laughs out. Quickly everyone stops laughing as he realises his mistake. "So... She's a good for nothing bitch... Because shes a chick?" I ask. He gulps. Alex steps behind him and into the crowd. "You did this to yourself." He says. Alex sends me a smile and I send one back. "Fine.. Since chicks arent as strong or as good as a male.. Fight me." I say. He laughs again. "I would hurt you." He says. "Then do it. Prove that's females are weaker, prove that we dont belong in the field." He smirks before taking a step forward, accepting the challenge.
    Slowly he circles me, trapping me in his circle. He quickly goes from one side of the circle to the other. Pulling my hair, and spinning me around. Testing the waters. He lets out a laugh, paired with a smirk. "This is going to be easy." I bend my knees slightly, and he rushes towards me. As he is about a 3 feet away, I launch myself into the air. He flys under me, tripping and falling face first into the ground. He gets up and turns towards me as I land perfectly in the same spot ive been the entire time. He rushes at me again, and i side step his attack. His wolf begins to show as he becomes angrier.
    Slowly he turns to me again. His eyes shining and his claws extending. He throws an punch and barely hits my jaw as I move to dodge. "Hmm. Maybe I underestimated you. Well.. Never mind its your wolf now." I say smirking. His fists quickly fly through the air. I grab one and flip him over onto his back. Knocking the wind out of him. "Come on! I havent even started yet!" I taunt. Fury shows clear in his eyes. He gets up and begins fighting the change. He wants to shift. If he does then i wont be able to do hand to hand. More of my tricks will come into play. Hehehe. I throw a punch with my right hand to his jaw. He stumbles back. "Come on! At least your not the best fighter in your pack. Otherwise I would be severely disappointed." I say, everyone laughs. "What are you laughing at?" he growls. I send another punch to his jaw. "Dont talk to them like that." I scold. Then he shifts. Alex is by my side in a second. "You ok? You got this?" He asks. Worry in his voice. I wrap my arms around his neck and he wraps his around my waist. Using my strength I send us both into the air as his wolf flys under us. "Yeah i got it. Get the others back." I say landing. He nods his head. I turn around just in time to see his wolf a foot away for me. The wolf hits me, throwing me back. My back hits a tree and my eyes begin to glow. I stand up. "Nice one! I'm proud of that hit!" I exclaim, before running towards him. I slide under him, grabbing his paws and planting his face in the ground. We both quickly recover and I punch the wolfs head. He lets out a growl before chasing me into the woods. Everyone follows and climbs into trees. I hide just out of sight of his wolf and hide my scent. Looking up I smirk at one of the members. The wolf walks right past me. I nod towards the entrance and the members around me leave the woods. I walk up behind his wolf and kick him in his side sending him hurtling threw the air and out of the woods, where he lands. Skidding to a stop. Running out i jump and land on top of him, holding him down by his throat.
    Slowly I get off and step back. "Shift." Alex says. He does as told and someone hands him a pair of shorts. "Alright... I was wrong. I am sorry." He says to me. I give him a small smile that only grows when he turns to the girl from earlier. "And I'm sorry to you for everything Kat. It was wrong of me to pick on you and call you such horrible things." She smiles and says, "I forgive you." He looks back at me, "I am proud to call you my Luna." He says. I begin to feel giddy. I start hopping up and down. I hop onto Alexs back and declare training over. "Lets get you guys into your new houses!" I scream. "My ear." Alex groans. "I'm so sorry!" I say, kissing right behind his ear. He freezes and his grip tightens. "Maybe later." I whisper into his ear. His grips tightens more, if possible, before he begins to walk again. As we reach the houses, everyone gasps. "Go pick your homes. And no fighting over them." I say. We stand there and watch as they all search through the houses. After a few minutes we go back to the pack house and lay on the bed.
