chapter 25

Alex's POV
    Right now we are letting the movers, who brought Jacobs bedroom stuff put it together... Honestly it would probably take me and the guys a few days to get it together. Yet they have been in there a few hours and are now coming down their stairs saying its finished.
      We walked upstairs with Jacob on my back to look at his room. It is amazing! I set Jacob down and he runs around. "Maggie will love this." Mazani says. "Yeah. I cant wait till she sees it." If only she wasnt doing paperwork. "Speaking of Luna, she wants to talk to you Alpha Alexander." One of the members who had came with us says. "Yea she just sent out a mindlink asking for you." Nodding my head I took off to her study.
    Once reaching there.. I heard her yelling. "I thought I told you to leave my pack alone!" The door slammed open, but maggie was by her desk and alone. She stomped out and past me. Not looking at me. "Lets go!" She yells and the house got lively. Warriors were running outside, some stayed behind with the women an children. "Whats going on?" I asked as Connor, Julian, and Mazani came up next to me. "The king." Was all they said. As soon as Maggie reached outside she shifted, as did everyone else. Running to the edge of the land she stops. Shifting again. But she was already clothed. As each of us shifted, we were all still in our clothes. "How?" Mazani asks. "Maggie." I breathed out. "Well well well if it isnt the weakling that was supposed to be Queen." Kyle said. I watched as her naturally blonde hair began to turn black. "What have you done!" She yells. Then about 10 people came out from behind Kyle. Tied in wolvesbane. A couple was in front. They looked familiar. "Jacobs parents." Julain whispers.
     "Well... I my fair mate." He says snapping his jaws towards her as he says mate. I watched as her hair began to glow. "Am starting a war." Her hair began to float. "Between you and I." With those last words, his men slit the captives throats.
   "NO!" Maggie yells. Their group vanished and soon after we appeared back infront of the castle, their dead bodies with us. I watch as Jacob and several other kids and older people run outside and clutch their bodies. Jacob starts to cry and shout. Maggie walks inside. Calm as ever. Her eyes glowing red, and her hair still black, glowing and floating.
    The guys grab Jacob and hold him. Shushing him. Then a blood curdling scream escapes the house. Everyone eyes widen at the sound but to scared to move.
    Not a minute later, Maggie walks out... Practiaclly floating on air. "If it is a war he wants. Then it is a war he will get." She seethes. "Alex.. May i speak with you. In my office." She asks. But it came out more of a order... No one has ever gave me a order. But I feel the need to follow it. As if... As if she was my alpha and I was just some ordinary wolf. "Because she has unlocked her powers." A voice sounds in my head. "Moon goddess." My wolf says.
    Walking into her office I see her standing over plans. Building plans. "I dont want to be away from you at night. I want you with me all the time." She says with a tear going down her face. Quickly I wipe it away.
"I want to build houses for the families here. And... I also... Would.... Like it.. If maybe.. Your pack could move in with mine?" She asks. Her voice bearly over a whisper at the last part.
   A smile comes to my face. "Of course we will move here. Are these the plans for the houses?" I ask looking at it. She smiles and nods. "I think I can make them tomorrow. I dont have a lot of energy right now. And this... This power.. It hurts." She says, once again whispering. Nodding I pick her up bridal style and carry her to her room. Laying her down. I sent out a mind link to my pack telling them to pack and that we are moving here. After several yes alphas everything is quiet again. Then the door opens. "Is she sleeping?" A little boys voice says. "Yes Jacob.. Do you want to sleep in here with us?" He nods slightly before walking over and climbing in the bed. I wipe his tear stained cheeks and cuddle them both. And soon fall asleep.

The next day

  Maggie's POV
      I slowly open my eyes and see Alex and Jacob next to me. A sad smile crosses my face as I look at Jacob. Slowly i get out of bed and take a shower. Changing into jeans and a t-shirt. I have to get these house up. And now. Before the war. This not only gives my people and alexs people places to stay but also will get me used to my powers, and will teach me how to use them. Last night when i used them.. All i did was wish them gone. Then I wished we were back home. And it happened.
    I walk downstairs and to the kitchen. I made breakfast for everyone and then went to my office. I have a few more papers to sign on my business. My meeting has been changed up a little bit. Instead of me going there, they are coming here. I cant leave right now. A few hours later I go to walk around the pack house. Taking mental note of all the families and how many kids they each have. Slowly I gather everything I need. Then it hits me. Alexs pack is coming as well. Oh well, we will figure that out later. Then I bump into someone and something wet covers me. "I am so sorry Luna!" Someone exclaims. "Its fine hun. Ill just go change." A look of relief washes over her. "Ok Luna, ill clean up the mess." She says. Nodding my head i go back upstairs. Alex is still sleeping. I got into the closet and change into a white, floor length dress. I dont bother putting on shoes, and just walk outside. Past the training field and into the woods.
   I take a deep breath and watch as the trees began to move. Houses began to appear, and flowers sprouted out from the ground. My eyes closed and I pictured what I wanted. Keeping my mind clear of everything else. "My child.. You are already great at using your magic. Come to me when you are ready." A voice cuts through. Making a mental note I continue with my work.
