Chapter forty

(Kristen's POV)

Gavin left last week ago.

It sucks. I've been getting sick a lot in the morning and I'm hiding it best I can.

I took a test... So I am pregnant.

I don't know what to do. His parents don't know and neither do mine. We need to tell them soon.

My phone buzzes and I get a text from Gavin.

'Hey we are driving to Santa Monica today. When we come over to your house we need to tell our parents. Can you get your mom over to your house?'

'Not a chance. Her and my dad had a huge fight the other night and aren't speaking. When we tell them my dad will probably call her.'

'Ok see you in like four hours. We have to go to maker studios first then we will come to your house.'

'Ok love you.'

'Love you too.'

I delete the messages and lock my phone.

I go downstairs and sit next to my dad. He kisses my head and puts his arm around me.

"How did you sleep?"

"Fine. Shay is driving down with the kids today. They are coming to see us after the go to maker studios." He nods.

"Ok. Allie took Anna to the doctor. She wasn't feeling good and we didn't want to get Chaz sick." I nod.

"That sucks she isn't feeling good." I lay my head on his chest and close my eyes.

We watch tv till Allie comes home. She walks in and Anna runs over to us.

"Daddy! Look!" She shows us a lollipop that she got from the doctor.

"If you buy a purse and collect a few more you can be like grandma." He says and laughs.

"Don't forget the fork." I say remembering when she had a fork in her purse.

Charles laughs and hugs me.

"Love it." He says and kisses my head. In a few hours it isn't going to be like this. We aren't going to be happy.

(Few hours later)

I hear the doorbell ring and I grab it. I open the door and smile at Shay and his family.

When everyone comes in I smile at Gavin and hug him.

"I missed you." He laughs and kisses me. He lifts me up so my arms are around his neck and my legs are around his waist.

We hug for a while and he puts me down. We walk out to the patio and sit down at the table.

"I don't want to tell our parents..." I say sighing.

"Me neither but it's better to tell our parents now then to tell them later." I nod and put my head in my hands.

"When should we tell them?"

"Now." I say standing up.

"Wait now?" He says grabbing my arm.

"Yes before I loose confidence in myself." He nods and grabs my hand.

"Mom, dad, Charles, Allie. Can we talk to you four?" They nod and turn their attention towards us.

"C-can we s-sit at the t-table?" I ask kind of shaky. Gavin squeezes my hand to reassure me that it's ok.

I smile at him and we all walk to the table.
