Chapter fifty-three
(Gavin's POV)
"It's a boy!" The nurse screams and I smile at Kristen.
She wipes her eyes and smiles at me,
"Noah Elliot Trippy." I lean over and kiss her,
"I love you so much." I go over to look at out baby boy.
"He's precious." One of the nurses say.
I nod and smile at him.
They clean him off and it's time for me to cut the umbilical cord.
"Where do I cut?" The nurse points to the spot I have to cut.
One nurse holds the camera for me while I cut it.
"Congratulations." A nurse says.
They set Noah on a tray and weigh him,
"6lbs 2oz!" A nurse yells and another one rights it down.
"What are you going to name him?"
"Noah Elliot Trippy." The nurse nods and smiles.
They finish stitching Kristen up and they let her hold Noah.
"He has your nose." She says kissing his little nose.
"He has your lips." She nods and holds him close.
I take off his hat and smile,
"Look at all of his hair." I smile and look at his dark brown hair.
They get Kristen ready to move into a room with him. She holds him as they wheel her to her room.
I go in behind her and help her sit in her bed.
"Can our parents come in?" I ask and the nurse nods.
Alli, Charles, and my parents come in the room.
"Allie and Jason both had to go." Charles says and Kristen nods.
(Kristen's POV)
My parents and Gavin's parents come in.
"What's the gender?" Alli asks, already crying.
"It's a boy." Alli smiles and comes to sit next to me,
"What's his full name?" Colette asks sitting on the other side.
"Noah Elliot Trippy. Do you wanna hold him?" I ask Alli and she nods.
I slowly put Noah in her arms and she kisses his head.
"He's precious." As she says that his eyes slowly opens his eyes.
"Oh my, he has blue eyes."
Colette comes over and smiles,
"He looks like Daxton." Gavin walks over and nods.
"Look at his hair." I say taking off his hat.
"It's so dark." Shay says.
Alli gives Noah back to me and I kiss his head.
Gavin sits on the bed next to me and smiles.
"I love you, and our son." He kisses my forehead and then Noah's forehead.
Hours pass and everyone gets home. Gavin sleeps in a cot next to my bed.
Before he goes to bed he puts Noah in a tiny crib next to my bed.
"I love him." Gavin says and smiles.
"And I love you." He leans closer to me so I can kiss him.
