Avery

Chapter forty-five

(Kristen's POV)

I run up to Avery and give her the biggest hug.

"I missed you so much!" I say, starting to cry again.

"I missed you too." We let go and I smile at her.

"When did you get here?!"

Charles laughs,

"I called her yesterday and she flew in last night."

"I can't believe you!" I hug Charles and smile Avery.

"I have something else to tell you." She pulls out her phone and shows me a picture.

I read the picture and hug her again.

"You were excepted into the Santa Monica College?!"

She nods and laughs,

"Did you get excepted?"

"I haven't applied yet, but Gavin also got excepted."

When we finish talking the doctor comes over.

"We are sorry for your loss, Mr. And Mrs. Trippy. We need you two to come and sign some papers."

They leave and Avery and I sit down.

"How's life?"

She shrugs,

"Boring, my brother broke his nose last week. What's going on with you?"

I laugh and sigh. I start to talk fast because she doesn't know about my pregnancy,

"Well Brianna passed away today, Gavin got me pregnant, my mom and dad had a hu-"

"Wait what?!"

"My mom and dad had a huge fight..."

"No before that!"

"Brianna passed away today."

"Kristen stop! What did you say."

I look down and sigh,

"Gavin got me pregnant." I mumble.

"Gavin did what?"

"He got me pregnant..." Avery has a worried look on her face and she hugs me.

"I'm so sorry..."

"Don't be. I think it's karma from picking on Ashleigh about being pregnant."

She laughs,

"She's ok to pick on."

I hug her again,

"Wait did your brother break his own nose or did you break it?"

"No... Unless you mean shoving him into a closed door, then yes."

"Avery!" She laughs and Allie comes back with Charles.

"Ready to go?" We nod and walk to the car.

I get in the back with Avery and we drive home.

Once we arrive we go in and Colette calls me into the kitchen.

"Was it bad?" I slowly nod and hug her.

"I'm sorry Kristen." She kisses my head and we let go.

"Don't be, she isn't in anymore pain." Shay talks to my dad and Allie.

Allie starts to cry again so I go up and hug her,

"Just remember she isn't hurting anymore." She nods and kisses my head.

"I love you so much."

"I love you too." I hear someone stomping down the steps and Chaz jumps off the third step.

"Look what Brock tau- AVERY!!!!" He runs up the her and hugs me.

We all laugh and Anna soon comes down,

"Avery's here?!" She looks around until she sees Avery.

They both hug her and laugh.

"Avery, I think they missed you." She nods and kisses both of their heads.

They run off again and Gavin comes down.

"I'm sorry Kristen." He gives me a hug and kisses me.

I shake my head as it's buried in his neck.

We let go and I wipe my eyes,

"As I've said for the third time, don't apologize, it wasn't your fault and she isn't in anymore pain."

He kisses my cheek and we sit on the couch.

Avery sits on the other side of me. I grab Gavin's hand and lay my head on Avery's shoulder.

"How long are you here for?"

"Till I'm done with college, I have an apartment like thirty minutes away from Venice beach."

"That's awesome." She nods and we all watch some tv together.

Avery goes to my room to get her things together and I snuggle up to Gavin.

"Is Avery trying to steal you from me?" I nod and laugh,

"Definitely." He gives me a kiss and wraps his arm around me.

Avery comes back down and lays down at the other end of the couch.

These are the three people I want to spend college with.
