Fall Festival

"Don't put that up there!" I shouted at the girl with raven black hair, "Put it to the left some more." I critiqued.

Tonight was the fall festival and I had finally got everything in order and had all the cheerleaders to make my dream a reality.

"Need me to do anything else babe?"

Oh and my new boyfriend Jaxon helped as well.

"Yeah take the guys and go get some more tables, can you tell Milo to come here I have some questions concerning the booths." I instructed.

"Okay." He said as he leaned in for a kiss.

"Ew no you're sweaty." I laughed as I put my hand up.

"You could care less about the sweat." He teased as he backed away and jogged off with his friends.

I nervously smiled and turned my attention back to Bianca.

"Okay what do you think, is everything going as planned?" I questioned.

"Of course, Kal chill out everything is fine." Bianca laughed.

"I'm just checking, I just don't want anything to go wrong because if it does everyone will look to me." I sighed.

"Just chill out and go get some lemonade I'll have everything in order.

"No its fine." I replied.

"You sure?"

I gave a nod and began to stroll off. I walked around looking at the different booths and crazy teens setting up the different lights. Everyone with a smile plastered across their faces. I had finally stopped in front of the Fall Queen and King thrones. There was gonna be a big dance after they were crowned and I had been nominated as well. I was looking forward to sitting on the throne. Ariana and Shelby began to play around in the chairs.

"Look Kal I'm Queen." Shelby joked as she took a seat.

I rolled my eyes and laughed, "Yeah whatever."

"Hey Kalila." Hayes greeted me.

He and I had always had brief conversations only that and never more.

"A lot of work that needs to be done." He took a look around then brought his eyes back to me.

"I know, but I think I can handle it." I beamed proud of the dominance that I had shown today.

"Hayes and Kalila, you two should show us the Fall dance that the king and queen will do after their crowned." Ariana insisted.

"Oh no-"

"Sure." Hayes replied.

I stood in shock and eyed him in confusion, as the music started up and it definitely was not the Fall Queen and King song. It was Paramore-Still Into You.

"What its just for fun, unless you're scared your boyfriend is gonna say something." Hayes teased with a devious smirk.

"Allow me." I smartly replied as I stepped onto the floor and began moving to the upbeat melody. Hayes joined me on the floor, this caused a few heads to turn in our direction out of curiosity.

We began to circle around each other but as the melody kicked in Hayes grabbed me by the hand and spun me around. We began moving in sync both of us gliding across the floor getting lost in the beat and each other. Until finally coming to a hault as Hayes held me close and we stared into each others eyes.

The crowd that had came around us had began to roar and applaude. I hopped out of my trance and Hayes let go of me. In the mist of the crowd I saw an unpleased Jaxon with a smug look on his face.
