For the first time in my life, I never wanted a movie to end.

Two-bit was so happy that we were officially a thing.

I mean he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend, but there are definitely sparks between us.

But like every spark soon has to come to an end.

I stood up and followed Two-bit to his car. The gang had already left, and we didn't even notice.

My face turned red to notice we were the only ones left in the theatre.

He opened the passenger seat for me as I got in and then he went around and got into the drivers seat.

I was very sleepy, but I managed to stay awake the whole ride home.

When I thought that I was just about to pass out, I felt a hand go over my leg.

I look down to see that it was
Two-bit's hand. So, I gently looped my hand under his:

I rested my head on his shoulder as he took me all the way back home.

When we got there, he stopped the truck and whispered to me, "Shaylin?"

I asked tired, "Hmmm?"

He then said, "We're here."

I opened my eyes to see we were indeed in front of his house.

I then smiled at him as he gave me a small kiss on the cheek.

We then held hands walking in together and Mrs. Mathews almost had a heart attack not even joking.

She asked, "Does that mean..what I think it means?"

I smiled up at Two-bit as he said, "Yeah, mom, we're engaged."

She then gave a more serious concerned look on and so did I.

Engaged?! What the fuck...no! I am way to young to get married! I'm not even out of school yet.

He then gave his old Two-bit laugh that I love and said, "Gotcha!"

Mrs. Mathews and I both gave out a sigh of relief.

He then said, "I totally got both of you. Mom, it looked like you were going to kill me."

His mom then said, "I was going to do more than that."

I then gave out a tiny giggle as Two-bit squeezed my hand.

I said, "We're a thing now."

She then smiled at both of us and said, "Finally! I thought it would never happen."

Two-bit then whispered but I still heard him say, "Me to."

I then walked over to the fridge pulling a coke out and began to drink it.

I then went back to our room and said, "Good night, Mrs. Mathews."

She then said back, "Oh goodnight, dear."

I then closed the door behind me as I heard both him and his mother having a whisper conversation in the kitchen.

It was very odd, and I could only hear their voices, but I couldn't make out the words.

Two-bit came in a few minutes later. I was sitting on the end of his bed waiting for him.

He then smiled and sat beside me. I just had to ask, "What did she say?"

He looked away for me for a minute but tried to play it off, "Don't worry about it."

I gave him a questioning look but he calmed me down when saying, "Trust me, Shay, everything's okay."

He looked a little worried, and his fake smile proved he was hiding something.

I wanted to know what it was, but I was just too tired to ask.

So, I simply just shrugged and dropped the subject while I yawned.

I was shivering more than ever because I had only a short crop top on and in his room it was freezing.

He looked at me concerned and asked, "You cold?"

I nodded my head and said, "A little bit but it's okay...I'm okay."

He then put his arm around me, and I felt warmer than ever.

I looked up at him as he looked back down at me. Yep, I still love him.

I said to him, "So, I've gotta ask. When was it when you realized you liked me?"

He then put on a real smile and said, "We were six years old, I noticed a small blonde headed girl, who was always playing by herself.

Everyone thought she was weird, and my ex friends tried to convince me that she was.

They threw rocks at this little girl, called her every name you could possibly think of, and even hated her.

Then, this little strange girl wandered over to me and said, "Hi, my name is Shaylin Lewis. Would you like to meet my friend?"

I then said to her, "Sure." My friends did not like me hanging around this girl, but I felt like she chose me.

Later that day after school, my mom let me go over to her house where she introduced me to her turtle.

I never knew that was her only friend in the world. His name was Porpoise and Porpoise was an excellent swimmer.

The little girl said to me, "Porpoise says he likes you."

I didn't know what to say of course and I was quite stunned how a little girl was able to communicate with a turtle.

But I simply went along and asked, "What else is he saying?"

I watched as the girl looked at the tank and said, "He wants me to turn on Mickey Mouse it's his favorite show."

We then both sat down in front of her tv and watched episode after episode.

She introduced me to my inspiration that day, and I knew I liked her from the start."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I could feel my eyes start to water.

I then said to Two-bit, "Porpoise died a week after that. He was my favorite turtle."

Then, Two-bit replied, "I know, but I cheered you up with ice cream after it."

I nodded and said, "Yeah you did, and then we became best friends."

He then held my hand and said, "And then we became more."

I reached up and kissed his soft lips, and the kiss lasted longer than I expected.

When we broke it though, I smiled up at him and said, "Thanks."

I didn't even feel like getting dressed into my pjs so I fell asleep in what I was wearing.

I felt Two-bit beside me, but I could tell that he was not going to bed.

I couldn't tell why, but I felt like he wasn't going to go to sleep.

I was too tired to ask why he wasn't going to bed and what his mom and him were talking about.

But I trusted him to let me know if anything bad was happening.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
