New Surprises

Today was a very important day for me! It was my first day working at the DX.

Two-bit was sad about me being away from his for so long but he accepted it.

I began to walk back inside the house putting a ponytail on.

I noticed Two-bit was kind of staring at me from the porch so I smiled sticking my tongue out at him:

He couldn't help but to laugh back. I didn't want to leave him either, but I knew I had to, to help with the bills.

I was willing to do if for the Mathews. Since Two-bit took me in, I had to repay him for his kindness.

He then asked me as I walked on the porch, "What'cha doing? I thought ya were going to the DX."

I replied, "I am but first I need breakfast before I go."

Inside, I was a complete disaster you have no idea. I can't work at a gas store.

I've never worked a day in my life and now I had a job with my best friend at a auto-mechanics shop.

I hope I'll be doing something easy like doing oil fills or behind the cash register.

Two-bit handed me a toast and said, "Have a good day, I'll see you tonight."

Tonight, great. Tonight is hours away from him, and I miss him already.

I waved my hand at him and said, "Bye" as I left once again.

Since I don't have a car, I had to walk there alone on the streets.

But like I said before rarely any Socs walk on Two-bit's road.

Once getting there, I walked over to Soda and Steve inside.

Steve then said in a pissed off tone, "You're late, princess."

Clearly mocking me.

I then said, "First off, if I were a princess I would have had the executioner out years ago for you."

He then gave me an awful glare telling me he was mad which I liked seeing.

Steve and I never got along. Even when I think he's changed, he's really not.

He's always been mean to me and Pony which is the reason I don't know how Soda can stand him.

I then continued, "And where's my uniform?"

Soda then grabbed it off a hanger by the door and said, "Here ya go."

It was a white tank top with a red and black plaid shirt over it.

He then gave me a bandana but said I could wear the blue jeans I was already wearing:
