What To Do

It was the day to go back home, and I was more ready than ever.

I've had the absolute worst time not counting last night.

The thing is, is that I don't really know what love is like.

I come from a family who only loves each other for their money.

That's why my parents always fought because they didn't have money.

They made me feel worthless and everything Two-bit tells me I'm not.

It's just hard hearing something I've heard all my life and then hearing I'm completely different.

I was a mistake, and you can't change that.

My parents never wanted a kid, and I was a little girl.

They were thinking about putting me into a foster home for girls.

Girls with parents who didn't want their child or need them.

I was depressed for years and nobody even cared to know it.

Except Two-bit.

He was the only one who paid me any attention in this world.

He was the one that showed me happiness and joy of living in the kind of society that we do.

It's all from him that I know who I am.

I felt myself starting to yawn and my eyes drifting off to sleep.

I was really tired from our adventure this weekend that I was just dying to sleep.

So, I did.

Evie's POV

Once I knew for sure that Shaylin was asleep, I spoke up to everyone.

"Okay, guys, so what's going to happen with Shaylin and Two-bit."

Soda shook his head and said, "I don't know. Hey, look she's wearing his ring."

I smiled and said, "Yeah, he asked her to be his last night."

Sandy said, "Well, I think Shaylin should find out. I mean we are her friends she deserves the truth."

I looked up at her and said, "Yeah, but the truth will kill her, and they just started dating. I would give it a while."

Steve asked, "So, you think it would be best to keep it from her?"

I then asked everyone, "Why do we keep bringing this up?"

Soda answered, "Because like Sandy said we are her friends...and friends tell each other everything."

Sandy finished for him, "Even if the truth hurts."

I sighed looking over to see her asleep on the window.

She looked so peaceful and happy.

I said, "Look, I want to tell her more than anything in the world, but I feel like it would ruin everything."

Steve asked, "So, what do we do."

Soda answered, "Here's what we'll do. We will tell Two-bit that we all saw what happened, and that he has a few days to be honest with Shaylin or we are going to tell her."

Everyone nodded at his remarks.

I then replied, "Sounds fair."

Later That Day...

It was around noon when we got home, and I was starving.

We all unpacked our stuff and laid down at the Curtis house.
