I'm chillin' home alone

Back in high school she didn't want me, now that shit changed

I woke up in a white cloud of fluffy duvets and pillows to hear my irritating phone alarm going off. I put my hand out to my bedside table and searched around for it with my eyes still barely open. It was still 5:00 in the morning, not that I cared. After I turned 16, nothing was the same. I finally got out of high school and was living the fast life in California. It was different now...I had everything I could ever want, and I was totally content with living off coffee for the rest of my life It's not like my lifestyle was any better in high school. I pretty much wanted to die every day and writing song lyrics was my only outlet. I knew I wanted to be famous since pre-school, and every day I seem to be blowing up more and more. It took a while to convince them, but after enough money and success, my parents let me drop out of high school. At first, everyone in the rap industry thought a 16-year-old girl like me was a joke and pretty much an insult to rap, but I got in the game and people realized I was actually good. It's definitely a work in progress, but I'm getting there; especially with the help of all these guys on my side.

I got up and threw on an oversized hoodie and converse. I put my hair in a messy braid and started to pack my luggage. I'm in New York for a few weeks right now, but today I'm going to LA meet up with the artist Smokepurrp, or Omar Pineiro. He wanted to work on a project with me, so I thought I should give it a shot, since he had a pretty big following. I heard loud banging at my door.

"SOFIA your ass better be up!"

I laughed "Yeah I'm awake chill out."

Austin Post pretty much took me under his wing after I moved to California. He always gets on me for some stuff I do, since I'm only 16, but I guess I need the discipline sometimes; especially with me being on my own. I really didn't want a manager or someone controlling my brand and the stuff I do, so he and his friends help me out.

He opened the door. "I see you didn't bother to wear pants today."

"Do I ever?"

"True."

"Ah, I'm going to miss this hotel," I said.

"You miss every hotel we stay in."

"Yeah, because they're all so great."

"Well, we better hurry up, our flight is at seven."
