Can we have a little conversation?
Figure it out with no intoxication
We carry on, what is our motivation?
We're never wrong, how the hell we gonna make it?
I was drinking iced coffee and scrolling through Twitter while I watched the sun come up through the kitchen windows. Austin was still on the couch asleep, which I had trouble doing last night. Suddenly, my heart stopped. I saw a mirror selfie of a girl probably around her early twenties and could immediately make out she was in Diego's apartment and wearing one of his hoodies. The caption said she was some girl named Tana. I assumed she had to be somewhat relevant but didn't recognize the name. Of course, it said Diego was caught cheating. I groaned in frustration. People will probably wait for some reaction out of me now. Why did she even post that photo? I felt like it was a clear jab at me and to get my attention and everyone else's.
I guess my frustration woke up Austin because I heard him wander into the kitchen. He went up to me and hugged me from behind.
"Happy Birthdaayy," he said.
I gave him a weak smile.
"Can't believe you remembered."
His eyes scanned over me, and he could tell something was wrong.
"I don't want you to regret anything we did—"
I stopped him and shook my head.
"No. I'm fine. It's just—"
I showed him the picture. He raised his eyebrows.
"God damn, clout chaser! Who the hell is that hoe?"
I sighed.
"Sometimes I feel bad for Diego. He's like a little baby who needs constant attention. Can he not go one day without fucking someone? He must have issues."
"Well, he lost his virginity at 11," Austin murmured.
I chuckled.
"Yeah. I saw that interview. I guess I can't be mad though."
"Yeah, but does he even know that bitch. Like it makes more sense that you would fuck—be with—hook up? with me.
I smirked.
"You're so stupid."
He slapped my arm playfully.
I didn't think you would remember much of last night," I said.
"I remember all of it," he said, avoiding eye contact.
"I have a feeling you regret it," I said lightly. I didn't feel like starting some deep conversation about our relationship.
He nervously smiled.
"I mean, I do in some way, but in another way, it was dope. I only regret it because I feel like I should be protecting you, you know."
I rolled my eyes.
"That's literally what Diego said. Holy shit my life weird."
"And doing this with you also it feels a little weird."
"I know what you mean, but that's why I kind of like it," I smirked.
"If you try calling my daddy I'll beat your ass. I'm not into that shit."
I laughed.
"What the fuck! I'm not into that either...daddy."
"You're sick. I'm only letting you get away with that because it's your birthday," Austin said.
"I bet you wish everyone was as sick as me."
Austin laughed.
"Honesty, I think you could change Diego. He really likes you, and we both know you and me is not going to work."
"Well, duh. But that doesn't mean we can't fuck around for the next couple of days. I'm sure your hoes wouldn't mine," I joked.
He rolled his eyes.
"I'm a nice guy."
I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Sure you are."
Without warning, I jumped up and straddled him with both of my legs wrapped around his waist.
His eyes widened with surprise.
I smashed my lips against his because we needed to break this tension. He put me down on the kitchen counter and continued to kiss for a while. He moved down to my neck. I could feel him being cautious.
I pulled away. I raised one of my eyebrows.
"Literally I can hear yourself think. If we're gonna do this, we can't hold anything back."
He went back this time sucking hard on my skin.
Later, we went to lunch. Luckily, us hanging out together was a normal phenomenon, so wouldn't bring that many suspicions from the press. For the rest of the afternoon, we laid on the couch and watched movies. At one point, we weren't even paying attention and just stroking each other or playing with each other's hair not really for the intent to arouse, but to feel each while we could. I looked up at him and smiled. He grabbed my face and brought our lips together. I climbed onto his lap, and he squeezed my thighs. My mind was running wild and before we knew it most of our clothes were gone. I laid down on the couch, and he was kissing and sucking on my stomach all the way down to my thighs leaving marks. By the end of the weekend, we would both be covered in these little marks. Just like Diego and I were at the end of the week. I shook him out of my mind and flipped Austin and me over. I made my way down to his underwear and started to feel him up. I began to think where this was going. Luckily, he read my mind.
"Where is this going," Austin breathed.
I decided to make the first move and slipped off my underwear.
He brought himself up on his elbows to look at me.
"Sofia, you know I can't do this."
"God, just fuck me. We already crossed so many lines."
"Fuck it. You're right."
He sat up and kissed me.
"You're beautiful."
