song:
exfactor - ms. lauryn hillpetals pov
7 months agoi wore a yellow flowing dress that i adored. the colour yellow was a big favourite of mine. most people see it as a happy colour. but the thing is.
people categorise colours into feelings.
blue is sad.
red is angry.
but why is that? i think you've got to focus strongly on the colour to really feel something.
hence the reason as to why yellow is happy.
i felt happy seeing the colour yellow.
it was there when you wake up. the sun.
and if you were ever lucky, i could be there with you the whole day.
walking down a beautiful garden to see yellow flowers standing tall as they flow gently in the wind. or the yellow city lights that looked beautiful staring at on a high hill or mountain.
or even on top of a building.
the glimmering lights that shone on the water as you walk along the beach on a dark night.
yellow was just that light feeling for me.
"hey babe you ready?!" a deep voice calls out. i gulp down a little as i was a little frightened for this.
it's not like i've never done it before.
it's just i'm not a big fan of it.
just recently i got blessed by an amazing boyfriend. his name is olly.
he told me it would okay and that he will be there with me the whole time.
so i agreed.
"coming!" i yell out, hoping he could hear me as i quickly pull a few strands of hair out of my way.
i smile gently to myself and bounce a little as i whisper to myself.
"i'll be fine."

a cool gust of wind tingles my arms and face as we step outside. the neighbourhood was lit up by that warm yellow colour of lights.
i hug onto ollys arm making him chuckle as his hand finds its way onto my lower back; leading me to the car.
as he opens the door for me, i feel my cheeks heat up a little even with the cool wind that surrounded us. his actions were so small but so sweet.
as i entered the car, i tucked my legs together as i hid my hands under my thighs.
he entered the door beside me with a smile as he looked down.
"cold?"
"extremely." i shiver.
a light sigh leaves his lips as he throws off his jacket, wrapping it around me.
