nothing even matters - ms. lauryn hillethans pov
6:27pmmy eyes wouldn't dare leave the screen for a damn second. my eyes dropped as they stared at her; admiring everything about her.
she was truly amazing and amusing to me, it was completely cliche.
one thing i absolutely loved, was our first 'face to face' conversation. i guess that's not really the right way to put it. since we are not face to face at all.
but it was close for now.
it was the simplest things, yet we sounded absolutely bizarre in the way we were speaking about them.
~
"i hate onions." she her hands cupped her face as she laid on her belly, kicking her feet as they dangled in the air.
i gasped loudly and enthusiastically with shock. "me too!"
she gasps the same exact way as she leans back a little to make it more enthusiastic.
"i loveee cucumber." she drags the 'e', rolling her eyes back in absolute seriousness yet a huge amount of silliness was obviously being used in this convo of ours.
it's funny, because i actually do love cucumber.
so, without lying at all, i gasped loudly once again, widening my eyes until they looked like they were to pop out any second.
"me too!" my hand places itself on my chest, leaning back with a bounce. this earning a light laugh to escape her plump lips, raising the beat of my heart intensely.
in the end, all that could be heard was our intoxicating laughs, endlessing chuckling over our bizzare-o conversation.
~
she was just truly adorable.
i didn't quite understand how any human can be as cute as her. she made the heat in my cheeks grow as my eyes felt as if they were glowing.
her cheeks were rosey red with her tan complexion. her eyes bursted with green even through a phone. and her hair was so messily tied up that it looked extremely attractive.
i don't know what it was.
"ethan?" her voice cut me off from my admiring thoughts, catching me a little off guard.
"hm?"
"you never told me you had a brother." the corner of her lip curves up in a teasing manner— reminding me of the time she has kept on asking.
her teeth slowly suck in her bottom lip afterwards as the the line was silent. she looked and sounded nervous to being this up again.
but to be fair, i was the one avoiding the whole thing.
i somehow stifle a small laugh, looking down as i begin to play with the sheets of my bed.
"you're right... i never did." i tease back, bringing back the slither of humour that hides in each conversation we share.
"so, who is this brother of yours?" i hear the shuffling of her bed as she moves closer to her phone; curious.
i exhale a large breath of air, looking at a amused looking petal, leaned close towards her screen as i speak. "he is my twin brother-"
