12:03ami dont know why me staring at her house gave me this infatuating feeling towards it, i guess it could of been the tiny homely glow radiating off of it.
i observed it quietly. not large and modern. a white wooden exterior with a lot of small greenery outside.
you aren't always most likely to judge someone on how their house looks or base them on where they live.
but for some reason, this house screamed petal.
everything about it just described her to me for some strange reason, and i couldn't explain it.
my mind suddenly replayed petals excited expression in my head as she would spin on the heels of her feet. the joy beaming from the house.
her small coat hanging over her shoulders that she gripped onto while her fingers would point to all the things around us as we searched around the city. the enchanting emotion pouring itself out to me from the windows.
i loved how intense she got into showing me around, the lights making her skin glow intense colours; eyes sparkling.
with the sound of the car door shutting, i am now cut out of my thoughts. her small head pops out as she walks past, a light smile painted on her lips.
"well, this is us." her knees do a little bounce as her hands extend outwards to point at her home.
i couldn't help but smile at the adorable movement.
nadia followed as well, slumping out the back. her eyes drooped a little as her mouth opened, letting out a yawn.
her left hand raised the hover over her mouth whilst she did so, her head doing a little shake.
"lets sleep." her voice became more raspy, clearly being exhausted.
although she was tired, and i could admit the small fluttering of my own eyes, i still felt this desire to keep talking to petal.
our feet all followed with each other, the small backpack i brought with me lightly hanging off my shoulder. petals hands fiddle with the keys, making a jingly sound.
as she inserts the key into the door, nadias head rests on petals back.
once turning the keys, she removes them before twisting the handle and pushing the door open.
one of petals feet made it in the house, already kicking off her shoes as her right hand searched on the wall for the light.
when flicked on, she moves for nadia and i to make our way in.
"just place your shoes here and follow me." her head turns; smiling at me.
nadia had already slumped past, petals hand patting her back while she trotted up the stairs.
my eyes followed her, my heart now racing for a strange reason. her head tilted confusingly while she saw my throat swallow hard.
