Roadtrip Fanfic: 5th Wheel

11: In you're eyes theres a heavy blue...

Brook's POV:
We arrived back at the flat and when we walked in Rye and Andy made an "Ewwwww" sound effect. (Ewww lala, as in cute not gross). "So how was your date. I mean it must have been pretty romantic if you guys never came back last night" Rye winked. I could se Mikey sitting on his bunk scrolling through his phone trying to blank out the conversation.

"It was really good..." Jack blushed slightly hiding behind me embarrassed.
Andy chuckled and I went bright red.

"So what did yous get up to"asked Andy smirking.

"We went roller skating, then to Dinner, then Jack took me to this amazing cliff and we watched the sunset and then we err went to a hotel..." I said regretting getting carried away.

"Ayyyyy bet you had fun at the hotel!" The
choked then burst out laughing.

Jack and I both just stood there turning bright red from embarrassment. I looked over a Mikey and I could see him staring at me looking almost hurt and betrayed in a way. I instantly felt guilty but I wasn't entirely sure why as I hadn't done anything wrong. We briefly made eye contact before he got up and left the room.

A few hours later we were at studio practicing a cover of 'Youngblood' 5SOS. There was clearly a lot of tension and awkwardness as we rehearsed. Mikey occasionally looking over at me with a saddened expression on his face.

We were then taken to film our music video for 'Wolves'. To make things worse than they already were Chris made me sit in the middle of Jack and Mikey which was extremely uncomfortable.
The first line "in you're eyes there's a heavy blue" I couldn't help but look over at Mikey and he too looked me. I stared into his beautiful blue eyes for a moment before getting rushed back into reality by a sharp feeling of guilt as I could feel Jack's eyes burning into the back of my head. I knew he felt betrayed. He didn't deserve this. I had to stop.

Throughout the video Mikey and I had a few 'moments' causing Jack to storm off in a mood after we had finished filming.

We got back to the flat at about 7pm and Jack was still refusing to speak to me. It made me feel to guilty and horrible for acting cute with Mikey but i hadn't meant to do it. Some things just happen. Things that you gave no control over.

We were all getting ready for bed but jack, still in a mood had gone to bed as soon as we got in and when I asked to get in to bed to sleep he pretended to be asleep. I just sighed and roller my eyes at how childish he was being before make myself a bed on the couch which was fairly uncomfortable.

I got one of the worst sleeps ever. Tossing and turning all night. Mikey has offered me to sleep with him but I said no already feeling bad about earlier.

"Jack can you please just speak to me?" I pleaded "what have I done?"

"What have you done! Really brook?!" Jack snarled at me.

Shocked I just stepped back for a second shaking my head in annoyance.

" don't shake your head Brooklyn! It should be me shaking my fucking head!!" He shouted

"Why what have I done?!" I argued back.

I could see jack getting really frustrated really quickly. He stood up and walked out the flat. Slamming the front door. The other boys were at Asda when the fighting took place but I knew they would find out anyway.

It was October the weather was cold and wet and that's when I remembers that Jack had only been wearing a thin top and sweats.
At this realisation I slipped on a hoodie grabbing a spare one for Jack and ran out the door in an attempt to find him.

I ran out into the pouring rain as it sent shivers down my spine. I hoped Jack hadn't gone far but he was no where to be seen. I missed him already and he had only been gone for 15 minutes. Though we had fought before neither of us had ever walked out looking so disappointed. I couldn't bare the thought of loosing him. Life without Jack isn't a life worth living. He was my lifeline. I needed him. I needed to find him.
