Chapter 15

The fountain in the back of the mansion was very soothing. You watched the water flow smoothly. Your tears flowed more violently.

Erik and Raven were kissing.

He told you he loved you.

He told you that you were his world.

He crushed you. He lied to you. How could he?

You heard the door open and you jumped up and peered around the bushes and saw Hank coming towards you.

You sat back on the edge of the fountain.

When Hank reached you he took a seat right next to you.

"Look, Im sorry Ana. I really am. This shouldn't have happened. Raven and Erik had a past but i had no idea it was still like this. "

You shook your head as tears flowed harder.

"How could I be so stupid? He told me he couldn't love a human and I didn't listen. I should have stayed away."

"You're not stupid. I'm sure he's said a lot of things to make you fall for him. It's not your fault." he paused and placed his hand on your shoulder. "You can call a cab if you want. There's a phone in the house." Hank offered.

"Yeah that would be great. Just please keep him away from me." you pleaded and he nodded before leading you into the house and to the phone.

The cab would be here any moment now.

'Great' you thought. You plopped down on the couch next to the phone. It was a pretty small room you assumed it was a phone room considering the fact that there was nothing really in there.

You heard a loud crash followed by many other loud banging noises. You jumped out of the chair and you heard a loud growl. You ran out the room to see a large blue creature being restricted by metal pipes.

"Hank?" you half shouted running towards him. "Hank, what happened are you alright? " you asked as he let out another growl.

He wasn't looking at you but looking past you.

You turned around to see Erik, Charles and Raven.

Erik did this.

You ran up to Erik and pushed his hard chest as violently as your little body could.

"What did you do Erik?!?" you shouted as you kept shoving him " What's wrong with you?! Are you crazy?! Have you lost your mind?!" you said still shouting and pushing him.

You felt yourself being pulled back and you turned to see Raven pulling you off of Erik.

You shrugged yourself out of her touch.

"Dont you dare touch me!" you shouted at her and she backed off.

"He wouldn't let me see you." Erik finally said.

"Did it ever occur to you that I didnt want to see you? Especially after what you've just done?" you said in almost a whisper.

Before he could answer there was a knock at the door and Raven opened it. It was the taxi driver.

"Charles. It was so lovely to see you again. I'm sorry for all of this trouble. I'll keep in touch." you said to Charles before turning to Erik.

"You're not coming home with me?" he asked with furrowed brows and a pain stricken voice.

"No Erik. I'm not. I dont want to be any where near you right now." you said turning to face Hank.

You walked over to Hank and placed your hand on his cheek.

"Hank, I am so sorry about all of this. I'll talk to you later." you said turning and walking out the door and closing it behind you.

You paused for a second and faintly heard Charles speak, "Just let her go Erik. Let her go."

The tears started to flow again and you got into the taxi and headed home.
