I told you

I remember running into school and grabbing my friend, Soomi, telling her about him.

When I told Jaehyun, she told me to tell you.

By the look on her face, I could've sworn you liked me.

And its funny, because,

If you did,

I would've dropped him without a second thought.

Cause, he was just someone who I was dating.

He didn't go to school with us.

He lived an hours drive away.

I would've broken up with him in a heartbeat.

Which was sick in its own right.

He was nowhere near as important to me as you were.

But, when you heard, you said you were happy for me.

You said that you were glad I'd found someone I liked.

It was laughable.

I hated that I lead myself on.

I don't know what I'd expected.

I thought you'd jump up, declare you want me.

That you'd tell me you wanted to be mine.

And wanted me to be yours.

Yet, I still hoped you would.

That you would say something.

But you walked away.

And took apart of me with you.

But you'd never know.
