Damn I'm screwed! Shit shit shit!! I'm his next target. I'm like sooo dead now! Oh please God let me live, I'll stop drinking. Don't kill me please!!
These were they few of the things I've heard from the students in my school when they accidentally make eye contact with Aiden. Not that it makes sense to me. I wasn't scared of him at all. In fact, I was angry! Angry that he had the guts to look at me like that. Angry that he saw me. Angry because now, Aiden Chester, of all the people in this town, knows my little secret. Well, not exactly but still he saw my little freak out and that's enough to tick me off. I didn't want anyone to have the slightest hint about this but knowing Aiden for more than 10 years now, I know he will figure it out soon and won't go for my "Didn't get enough sleep so bad thoughts" excuse.
I glared at him, annoyed by finding concern in his eyes which later shifted to amusement because unlike others, I actually held his gaze. Damn yea, mister! I'm not afraid. He smirked, rubbing the fact that he saw me in my face. I sighed and rolled my eyes looking away. I'll deal with him later. For now I'm too tired and hungry. Just in time Tessa gave me her leftover lunch and I started digging in like a hungry monster. Don't worry. Even though i just ate, I'm hungry all the time and no, i'm not fat. I finished a whole slice of pizza and sandwich within 10 minutes and gobbled down my drink. I heard some very rare chuckles from my left side and I turned to see the dumbegg chuckling, looking at me. He shook his head and composed himself glaring at his mates whose mouth hung open at the rare scene before them. They soon shut their mouths and went back to whatever they were doing. I frowned and rolled my eyes again wiping my mouth and nose with a napkin. Yes, I have no manners! Go ahead judge me all you want!
The bell rang signaling the end of lunch period. I got up grabbing my bag and said bye to my friends taking River with me as we have the same class now, Maths.
My second favorite subject and no, I'm not joking.
But the bad news? I had it with Chester. Yes, Aiden Chester.
The whole time during class the only thing I could concentrate was his glare burning holes at the back of my head. Call me a nerd but I'd rather pay attention to class than be flattered that the school's bad boy is staring at me. I huffed and turned to him shooting daggers from my eyes. He just smirked and started writing something on his notebook. I turned back and tried to pay attention to the sum which was given to us to solve. Soon a paper ball came flying straight over me and on my lap. I rolled my eyes knowing well who threw it.
I didn't give much thought to it. I thought it was just a paper ball to I threw it in the bin, in the corner, with perfect aim. Yes, baby! Being friends with Jacob has its perks. ;)
Very soon another paper ball came flying on top of my lap. This time i turned around to glare at Aiden for disturbing me. I saw him grinning and when he saw me looking, he mouthed read and then winked. I narrowed my eyes into slits, at him and turned around.
Holding the paper ball in my hand, I hesitated first because it was simply weird. Aiden never communicates with anyone other than his mates much less throw paper balls at his classmates. I huffed but nevertheless straighten the paper and the words written there in a perfect handwriting caught me off guard. I stared at the words for more than a minute, taking my time to let the impossible sink in.
After class near the fire exit. – AC
At first I gulped. I know Aiden is bad news. But then i shook the fright and frowned. The hell I'll go. I crumpled the note and threw it in the bin with a perfect shot. Yes! As you might figured, I love basketball very much. I turned my attention back to the sum only to be disturbed again by another paper ball. I closed my eyes in annoyance and inhaled sharply. I exhaled, opening my eyes and looked at the paper ball lying on my lap. I straighten the paper out of curiosity.
Don't even try avoiding it. I'll be waiting. Cafeteria, remember ?
P.S Nice shot ;)

So.. he won't let it go. I huffed once more getting annoyed. I started thinking about the excuses to tell him. I don't understand why he wants to talk to me much less about my problems. I didn't want to talk to him about this but something in me told me i should take the chance. I nodded to myself then turned around to face him. He was already looking at me with an eyebrow raised. I sighed and give him nod telling him I'll be there. He nodded back and shifted his gaze to his notebook probably solving the sum. I then turned around, doing the same.
The period ended rather quickly after that and I stood up and all but ran towards the fire exist. By now i was so curious as to why he wants to talk to ME. As I reached there, Aiden already stood near the door leaning against the wall. He was staring at the floor, a far away look on his face as if he is in a deep thought. I cleared my throat as i approached him and raised my eyebrow in a questioning manner. He pushed himself off the wall and looked at me with a frown pasted on his perfectly sculptured face. wait whatt?!! .. never mind..
"So..." I dragged the word motioning him to talk. What I didn't expect was him to say those words.
"You having problem sleeping too, I guess?"
