Ever since I read Harry Potter, I always dreamed of having superpowers. I wanted to become invisible or be able to control lightning. I waited for my Hogwarts letter and I waited for Grover to take me to Camp Half-Blood, and if the Flare never struck Earth, I probably would still be waiting for Gandalf to take me on an adventure. I always admired the bravery that the heroes in those stories when it was revealed that they were not ordinary. But, lying in that bed, being able to remember everything after so long, I realized, this is reality and I'm not gonna find out that magic exists after Hagrid shows up in my hotel while I'm on vacation. I'm not gonna be chosen, but instead, I'll be cursed.

I always imagined I would find out I am superhuman in a really cool way, like when Mare in the Red Queen used lightning to save herself, but the way I found out was just: I remembered.

B89YT. That's the operation that gave me the power to predict the future. I got my powers after they experimented on me. I am able to see visions of possible outcomes of the future. In the past, I used these visions to alter the future before it occurred. Possible side effects include slow death, painful death, bleeding, nausea, vomiting, fatal illnesses that are probably still unknown to man, trauma, rashes, scars and severe depression.

After they erased my memory, I forgot how to control my powers and even forgot that they existed, but I realized, now that I'm back in WICKED, they will force me to continue my training. Oh yeah, now I know why I am in WICKED. One of the visions I had, I saw myself running away from the Chancellor and another vision I had, there was a voice that told me that I didn't belong in the Maze. I tripped and fell into the Maze. Leave it to Cassidy to face plant into a deadly experiment.

As I was lying in the bed, reflecting upon the newly claimed memories I just received Janson, the person from earlier entered into the room.

"Cassandra, I see that you are awake. Was the operation successful?" he questioned, ignoring me while staring down the clipboard in his hands.

I was about to say that I didn't have any way of knowing what he meant about successful, but then it all hit me. I got up from my position on the bed, I brushed my hair out of my eyes and smacked the clipboard out of his arms.

As the clipboard soared out of his hands and crashed into the wall beside me, I confidently walked out of the room after unlocking the doors. While I was walking down the hallway leading me out of the hospital rooms, I heard Janson speak into his walkie, "Operation B89YT was successful".

Ben's POV

I had the worst hangover. My head hurt and I think I threw up three or four times. Unfortunately, if I didn't get to breakfast soon, Minho might kick me off the Runners. Unless his hangover is worse than mine, I chuckled to myself. I finally decided on staying in bed and praying that Minho has a killer headache so he won't notice my absence. Suddenly all the guys around me erupted into a conversation and everyone began getting out of their hammocks. Something was obviously wrong and everyone was panicking. I forced myself to roll out of my hammock and ignore the throbbing pain in my head.

"Hey, slintheads! What the shuck is going on?" I hollered. Everyone turned to face me and most held expressions of sorrow. But, it was Newt, who came limping up to me with fresh tears in his eyes and pain written all over his face.

"Ben, she's gone. Cassidy was kidnapped by WICKED" he said while placing a hand on my shoulder.

I gulped. Cassidy was one of my best friends and I always felt very protective over her. All I wanted to do was to fix this mess, but I forced myself to keep my cool.

"How's Minho doing? Does he know yet?" I couldn't overreact because I knew that Minho would do that for me.

Newt shook his head, "No, I didn't know how to tell him".

"Alright, let's go," I nodded my head in the direction of the homestead as I began to walk towards Minho's room.

Many of the Gladers were uneasy and no one was actually working. As I walked next to Newt, who was the second in command, I saw that he made no effort to make sure anyone was on task. Everyone probably had a killer headache and after Cassie's disappearance, there was no use in trying to step up anyways.

After knocking on the door to Minho's door and yelling at him to get up a couple thousand times, he finally yanked the door open.

"What the shuck do you klunkfaces want?" Minho grumbled, last nights events still taking a toll on him.

"Minho...sit down," Newt's voice wavered as he gestured inside of Minho's room.

Both Minho and I's expressions never fell because we both were used to creating a void of expressions, but Newt's face had worried painted all over it. As Minho sat on his bed, Newt inhaled sharply but looked at me with an expecting expression.

I began talking, but kept my face expressionless, "Cassidy is gone. She was kidnapped by WICKED".

Cracks formed in Minho's mask.

Newt continued before Minho completely exploded, "You know how she never wakes up in the morning, but some shank got hurt the other night and she was needed in the Med-Jack shack, so Jeff went to go wake her up. There was no one there except for a note left from the Creators on her bed. It said B89YT and it also said subject B3. She's gone, Minho".

Minho's mask completely vanished.

So, I finished this chapter earlier than I thought I would and I am way too impatient to wait for tomorrow to publish it and I wanted you guys to be able to read it as soon as possible. I probably won't publish tomorrow since I finished this today, but I might if I am able to "speed-write"(that's not a word but whatever). Anyways, sorry if this weird schedule is confusing you, I honestly have no idea when I'm going to finish writing each chapter.

Love you lots, keep smiling :)
