Did You Hear That?

Regina was sitting on the couch watching television when she heard the door open. She looked at the clock seeing that it was only 10:28 p.m. and frowned. Zelena has just left to take care of an altercation at the bar and it was too soon for Emma to be back from her date, especially because it looked like she didn't plan on coming home at all. She got up and walked down the hallway to see who had entered the house.

"Emma?" Regina asked frowning, "back so early?"

"Yeah, something came up and we had to cut the date short,"  Emma answered her remembering the conversation she had had with Melinda. They had agreed to meet soon to talk about their shared gift, however, they couldn't get back into their date with Danielle watching them so they decided to try another time. Emma walked over to the couch and flopped down on it, "where's Z?"

"She had to go to the bar because of a fight in which one of your employees was involved. Allison is already asleep. Now you're here so I guess I'll be going as well," Regina said grabbing her things.

"You don't have to," Emma said while texting Zelena telling her that she didn't need to return there since she was home, making Regina look at her with a questioning look, "you can stay here a little while longer. Maybe get something to drink?"

"Are you trying to get me drunk?" Regina joked and Emma chuckled.

"I am sure Allison won't mind if you drink some of her orange juice." they ended up getting a glass of wine each and Regina start asking questions about Emma's date and why it had ended, "it was Danielle. She decided to make an appearance and I just wasn't comfortable like that."

"Were you expecting to have sex tonight?" Regina asked and Emma almost choked on her drink, "I am just asking because it didn't seem like you were planning on coming back home."

"Honestly? Kinda, yeah. I mean, it wasn't the first date we went on so yeah, I did kind of expect to get laid tonight," Emma answered truthfully. They stayed quiet for awhile, just enjoying the silence until Regina spoke again.

"You know... I always did wonder," Regina said looking at Emma who was staring back at her, "what sex with a girl would be like," she finished and Emma hummed. Emma's eyes drifted down to Regina's lips and she caught the sight of her tongue running over them.

"Would you like to find out?" Emma questioned while raising a hand to caress Regina's cheek. Regina's breath got caught in her throat when she saw Emma lean in, "would you?" Emma asked again when their lips were barely touching. Emma was ready to pull back and apologize when Regina's hand came to rest on top and she whispered a soft 'yes'. With that Emma closed the final distance between them letting her lips rest on top of Regina's. They moved slowly, getting acquainted with one another, but soon it became a kiss that two lovers would share after years of getting to know each other, of loving each other.

Regina pulled away and rested her forehead against Emma's, "your lips still feel the same. Not you though, you certainly know what you are doing now," she whispered to Emma who smirked bringing their lips together once more. Emma's hand slowly descended to Regina's still covered breast squeezing it gently, which cause Regina to moan for the first time that night. Taking advantage of Regina's slightly parted lips, Emma tentatively pushed her tongue inside Regina's mouth making them both moan when their tongues touched for the first time. Regina's hands cupped Emma's cheeks pulling her closer prompting her to lay on top of her which made Emma pull out of their kiss.

"What's wrong?"

"We should go to my room. I don't want Alli waking up and finding us," Emma told her, getting up and extending a hand to Regina. She took Emma's hand and Emma pulled her body close to her own so there was nothing but their clothes separating them, "are you sure you want this?" she questioned one last time and Regina answered by wrapping her arms around Emma's neck pulling her in for another kiss. Emma started to slowly walk backwards while pulling Regina with her, never breaking the kiss, until they were in Emma's room. Emma's hand came to rest on Regina's ass squeezing it gently before grabbing it more roughly so she could pick Regina up making her yelp out in surprise before wrapping her legs around her waist. They smiled at each other and Emma walked them to her bed where she gently laid Regina down, "last chance to back down?"
