Zelena was sitting on a bench watching Allison on the slide when her phone started ringing.
"Hello?" Zelena said picking up.
"Z? She died" Emma said sobbing.
"What? When?"
"I don't know a few minutes ago... Z, I need her, I can't do this without her."
"Emma calm down... Have you... You know."
"No. I can't see her, I don't know why but I need to talk to her," Emma told Zelena desperately.
"Emma, do you want me to keep Allison more time?" Zelena suggested.
"No I need to be with her, but thanks I'm leaving the hospital the funeral will be there."
"Okay I'm at the park with Allison but I'll take her home now. Drive safe."
"Thanks, Z, don't tell her anything okay? I wanna be the one telling her." Emma said and Zelena agreed. Zelena looked over at Allison and she looked like she was talking to someone, however, there was no one near her. Zelena got up from the bench and slowly approached her.
"No, I won! You cheated... Fine, let's race again I bet I'll win again!"
"Alli? Who are you talking to?" Zelena questioned her goddaughter.
"My new friend, his name is Jacob. He wanted to race but he cheated so we're doing another race." Allison explained to Zelena. She looked around and still didn't see anyone, maybe the gift didn't jump a generation, after all, she thought.
"Hum... Alli we need to go home your mom is coming back," Zelena told Allison who looked at her smiling.
"Yes! Bye Jacob! It was nice to meet you!" Allison said grabbed Zelena's hand, the two of them making their way back to Zelena's parents' house.
It's about 12.30 p.m. when Emma parked outside Zelena's parents' driveway. She got out of the car and walked to the front door. She knocked at the door and waited for someone to open it. When the door opened it was not Zelena who was staring back at her but her sister.
"What... what are you doing here?" Regina stuttered. From all the people that could be at the door, Emma was not the one Regina expected.
"Hello to you too. And I'm here to pick my daughter," at this Regina's eyes which were already wide open, widened even more.
"Your... Daughter?" She asked and Emma nodded "Allison? Allison is your daughter?"
"Last time I checked yes, can you go call her or is the interrogation not over yet?" Emma asked growing out of patience. She looked at Emma one more time before going inside. The blonde looked at the sky and tears start falling down her cheeks. Seeing Regina was the last thing she needed at that moment. She didn't need any old wound to be re-opened, not at that moment.
"Mommy!" Emma heard and turned around to Allison running towards her. As soon as she was close enough to her mother, Allison jumped into her mother's arms and they hugged each other tightly, "Why are you crying, mommy?" Allison asked looking at her with a frown.
"I'm just a little sad, but everything is going to be fine. Go get your stuff so we can leave." Emma said giving her a kissed on the forehead before putting her down.
"Emma..." she heard Zelena and looked up to see her best friend with her arms open. Emma walked over to Zelena and they hugged each other. As soon as Emma was in Zelena's arms she started to sob, "Shhh... It's okay, it's gonna be okay... We were just starting to have lunch do you want to join us?"
"No, I don't think that's a good idea," Emma said shooking her head.
"Because of Regina? Forget her, just come in," She said and Emma nodded. They entered the house and Zelena pulled Emma towards the dining room. When they got there Cora and Henry looked at her and came to hug her.
"I'm so sorry Emma..." Henry said pulling out of the hug."We're here for you if you need anything..." Cora said still hugging Emma who started to sob again, this time against the older woman, "Shhh... It's going to be alright, sweetheart."
Regina was sitting at the table watching Emma interact with her family and she couldn't help but feel a little jealous, not only because Emma was so close with her family even after all these years but also because Emma had a child and Regina was not a part of their life. She couldn't stop wondering why they were all hugging Emma until she heard her parents saying sorry to Emma.
"What are you sorry for?" Regina asked breaking the moment.
"None of your business," Zelena said. Regina was about to say something when Allison came downstairs running towards her mom also crying.
"Mommy... Is grandma dead?" Allison asked and that only caused Emma to start sobbing even harder. At this Regina frown is Emma's grandma dead? Is that why she's crying? But if she is that means Allison has the same gif- no Regina there's no such a thing as speaking to the dead you know that. But then... How can Allison know that? Zelena walked over to Allison and Emma and picked Allison up.
"Monkey, can you stay here with Cora while I talk to your mom?" She asked Allison who nodded and asked for Cora to pick her up. Allison hugged Cora and started to cry against her chest. Zelena and Emma walked upstairs to her room and Emma fell on the floor crying.
"How does she know Z? Did you tell her?!" Emma accused Zelena.
"No Emma of course not. I would never!" Zelena said walking over to her and pulling her into a hug, "I guess the gift didn't jump another generation after all..." Zelena said and hugged Emma while she cried.
She couldn't believe her little girl has been cursed with the same curse as her. And to make things worse this time she was the one who had to help someone understanding this, this time she didn't have her grandmother to help her. But if Allison knows that grandma was dead that means that she saw her... Why couldn't Emma see her?
