Literally, Edward's Jaw dropped as may came out the room wearing her white long gown. He immediately took out his phone and took a photo of her date as she twirls around and shows her look to her dashing date.
"You look beautiful, May" Edward says as he kisses may's hands which earned a blush from her.
"Ang gwapo mo din" May shyly replies.
"Kaya bagay tayo" Edward jokes.
They went on ahead to the car and travelled to the venue. May really did justice to the gown she was wearing because she won the head turner of the night, best dressed and talk of the town award. Edward on the other hand won best dressed men category. They also won best couple of the night as they were hailed as the sweetest love team.
They needed a breather after all the conversations and interview which is why they went out of the venue and headed to the garden.
"May, can I ask you something?" Edward suddenly spoke.
"Ano yun?" May asked.
"y'know naman na I like you diba. I wanna let you know that it's not like anymore. I'm in love with you. Can I please make you my girlfriend?" Edward kneeled down as he asked May.
May was speechless for a moment as he stared at Edward.
"may, my knees are getting dirty. Joke lang take your time" Edward joked.
"AY OH MYGOD. yes, yes, yes one million times yes." May happily replied.
Edward hugged her and twirled her. "This is one of the best days of my life and there is more to come"
Edward slowly closes the gap as may closes her lids. The newly formed couple shared a kiss under the stars.
"You don't know how I've waited to kiss that lips of yours" Edward stated.
In return May just hugged him because she was so kilig.
On their way back to the ball, they met with their friend and announced that they were officially together but not to the press as Edward wants to keep it a secret for now since they want a private life. He knows better than anyone that if they decide to come out as a couple all their actions will be judged. May on the other hand, supported his decision.
As they announced this news, all their friends were happy except for one. Heaven. She immediately went to the restroom and thought of a way to claim Edward no matter what the cost is. She's had enough of it. She will do everything she can to get Edward.
