Kaycee found herself asleep sitting down on the floor as her head rested on top of the bed. Her laptop was off and her bag was still a mess.
Oh shoot, she cursed herself
She looked at the clock and saw that it was 3:30 in the morning, just a few hours from now she would head to Boston. She thanked her body clock for waking her up just in time.
Her flight was 7 am but she had to get there by 5 so that means Sean would be picking her up at around 4-ish
"Kaycee? Are you up?" Her mom called
"Yeah yeah, I'm taking a shower" she lied as she grabbed her towel and ran to the bathroom
"Better hurry up dear, Sean will be here to pick you up any minute" Her mom replied
"I hear ya!" She yelled back
After a 10 minute shower, Kaycee dressed herself up and tied her hair back and finally put her cap on. Her phone kept buzzing, It must be Sean

U okay? U busy?
I'm about 12 minutes away
Sorry sorry, I just took a bath
U want anything for breakfast?
Nahh am good, we can grab something at the airport maybe

Kaycee put the rest of her things inside her bag including her deck of cards, her phone charger, neck pillow, water jug and a few other things
She head downstairs and saw her mom making breakfast as his father was checking his phone
"Sean will be here in a few minutes" Kaycee said in a hurry as she put her shoes on
"Hold on there miss, we have a few reminders before you go." her mom said
She sat down across her mother and suddenly felt scared. Oh god.
"Okay, let's get this straight... Rule number 1. No sleeping beside a boy." Her mom said as Kaycee nodded eagerly. Her eyes widened as she was shocked! Did her mom actually believe that she would let that happen?
"Rule number 2. Text Mom or Dad or Devon or Kylie if something happened or if you're going somewhere. I expect that Sean will be looking after you, ok? I have his number on my phone so I can double check." her mom also said
"Rule number 3. No doing dangerous things or things that are off limits. Always know what is right from wrong and to watch out for yourself"
"Rule number 4-"
"Sean's outside!" She interrupted her mother after seeing Sean's text
"Sorry sorry! I know what you mean but I really have to go" she added giving her mom and dad a kiss
"But you haven't even had breakfast" her mom exclaimed
"We'll grab something at the airport" Kaycee replied
"Here's your pocket money" Her father sighed as she internally freaked out
"I love you guys" she said with a hug as she head out, her parents following closely behind
"There she is" Sean said, his hands inside his pocket
"Parents gave me a set of rules" her eyes wide as she approached him, both her hands holding on to the strap of her backpack so it wouldn't be so heavy
"What rules?" His eyebrows raised in curiosity
"You don't wanna know."
"Goodbye baby!" Her mom said
"I expect that she is in good hands" his father said shaking Sean's hand
"Nothing to worry about, Brad." He chuckled
"Let's go?" He asked Kaycee as he opened the door for her
"I love you," Kaycee said to her parents one last time as Sean closed the door and transferred to the other side
"Have a safe trip, love you!" Her mom said waving to them
"You're parents must be so protective over you" Sean said as soon as he got in
"Most of the time" she smiled putting her seatbelt on
"You ready for Boston?" He asked as the engine started
"Lil nervous, but nothing I couldn't handle"
"Did you get enough sleep?" He asked as they both remembered what happened last night
"Oh god I forgot, I'm so sorry I fell asleep on our call" She tried to explain "I was just so tired from going back and forth to Tahani's place and I-"
"Don't worry about it, I understand." He chuckled even though he, himself didn't get any sleep
"Ugh, I'm sorry." She said once more before they suddenly burst out laughing
"Gosh, you're cute" He said barely a whisper, his eyes focused on the road
"Stop it!" She giggled, laughing so hard
"What?" He laughed stealing a look from her
After a few minutes of driving, they finally reached the airport and waited for the others to come. A few hours later, they finally got to board the plane.
"Do you wanna have the window seat?" Sean asked Kaycee as he made way for her to pass through
"Sure" she simply replied
After she got in, he put his and her bags up the compartment along with Ken's bag
She started to get comfy on her seat as Sean sat beside her
"I haven't been in a plane for a while now" She told him as she looked around
"Really?" He asked in disbelief trying to get cozy as well
"Hey there seatmates." Ken said sitting beside Sean as they both gave him a smile in return
"This is your pilot speaking, thank you for flying with American Airlines. It is 7:17 am and we should be arriving in Boston at 12:03 pm LA time and 3:03 pm Boston time. We will be taking off in a few minutes. Again, thank you for flying with American Airlines. " The pilot said
"I'm nervous" Kaycee said as her body shifted
"Don't worry" He said trying to comfort her
A few minutes later, the plane started it's engine and prepare for take off. Kaycee rested her back firmly against the chair, holding on to the arm rest. Her mind is filled with excitement and worry. Sean felt her body tense up so he decided to hold her hand, he hid their hands enough so Ken or anyone won't see and make a big deal out of it. Kaycee felt the warmth of his hands and chill out for a second but she didn't knew what she was freaking out for? The flight or Sean holding her hand? Her mind was too busy thinking that she only payed a little attention to the airplane taking off. She closed her eyes, she could feel the plane moving, she tightened her grip to his hand. Sean smiled throughout the entire moment.
A few hours has passed and both of them fell asleep. Much to his surprise, he was shocked to see Kaycee fast asleep resting her head on his shoulder. Their hands were still intertwined. But hey, he did not complain. He looked at his other seatmate and saw Kenneth asleep with his headphones on. The airplane was dim but he could see the clouds from the window
He took his phone out and turned the volume down, he opened his camera and took a picture of Kaycee asleep on his shoulders. Oh, and he also took a picture of Kenneth almost drooling. He didn't want to move much so Kaycee wouldn't wake up.
This is what he have almost dreamed for all his life. Traveling the world doing what he loves, dancing. and also doing it with the people who mattered most to him, Kaycee. He closed his eyes savoring the pure moment.
What a great day this is.
