Kaycee took a deep breath, inhaling and exhaling sharply as she tightened her grip on the small piece of cloth in her hands
"You're shaking." Sean looked at her, observing her as she swallowed hard
"Huh? Umm, what? I'm fine" she giggled slightly, a little bit deceiving
They were sitting at the tents, waiting for call time to start the filming. The time was delayed, due to some difficulties the management forbid to tell them about
They were in costumes already, with their tan and bronze-ish colored clothes.
Kaycee had her hair pinned straight, with a little red lip tint on and some powder.
Sean couldn't help but stare at her. He was trying to distract himself, and what better way to do that by drooling over her. She fluttered her eyes, making him notice her beautiful long and curled eyelashes that accentuated her brown eyes.
Her laugh brought him back to reality. She must've noticed him staring.
"What are you doing?" She giggled with a slight push on his arm
"What? What do you mean?" He asked, trying to play dumb
"Whatever" she snorted, avoiding his gaze so he wouldn't see her blush
"Calling all participants to the studio, prepare for filming in 20 minutes. Again, calling all participants to the studio, prepare for filming in 20 minutes." They heard a voice from the speakers from all around the corners of the room
There were loud noises and chatters from all the other people everywhere, rushing to the studio and leaving this place all deserted as both of them decided to just take their time and clean their mess on the table
"Kaycee! Sean! C'mon let's go hun, it's time to go!" Laura called them over
They quickly packed their things up and surrendered them to their parents since it would be unnecessary to bring inside the studio
They dusted themselves off, doing last minute touch ups on their hair and clothes
"Aw! My baby's growing up. I'm so proud of you both!" Laura said hugging Kaycee tightly
"I love you mom" she exclaimed in the hug, closing her eyes as she did so
"You got this kiddos! We're with you all the way" Miya then said to Sean as they too did a hug
"We'll have to go now okay? Have fun and remember why we're here. I know you don't need goodluck cuz no matter what, we're always so proud of you." Laura said to both of them
"Love you kiddos" she hugged them one last time before they all had to go and leave
For a while, the nervousness in them disappeared. They needed that encouragement from their moms and it truly enlightened their spirit.
They stood outside the door of the studio, taking a deep breath as they both froze in spot
"Should we go in?" Sean asked breaking the silence
"There's no going back now."
....
"Okay, rolling in 3! 2! 1! And go...." The director said
"Sean and Kaycee, Qualifiers Intro, Take 1!"
The clapboard clicked so loudly
"Helloo!" Jenna Dewan said as Sean and Kaycee turned around and stopped practicing for a while
"Hiii!" They both said in odd union but decided to brush it off
"Sean and Kaycee right?" Jenna asked so cheerfully
