Broken (30) - Leaving.

Trey's Point Of View.

*1 Month to Go*

Khayla and I decided to move back into her home as the 'war' that was going on settled down due to Leah's arrival at some point.

"Trey, come on! We need to pack this bag."

"You mean I need to pack the bag."

"Haha yeah."

Khayla was coming to the full cycle of pregnancy and it was showing. Sleeping was more uncomfortable than usual. Her back was forever aching and at times even walking was a hard task for her. She was pretty much bed-ridden through it all so to help out more now and when Leah comes - I've taken two months off school. To compensate for the school work I have a home tutor who will come a few days a week.

"What do I have to put in it?"

"Her clothes, nappies, wipes, change of clothes for me......

As she carried on rolling off the list, I drifted off. My thoughts back on Dami. She would have already given birth.

"TREY!"

"Yeah."

"Did you get that?" She raised one eyebrow which signaled me to tell the truth or be killed if I forget anything.

I wanted to lie but I've done enough of that. I wanted to tell Khayla so bad but telling an eight month pregnant women who will have the baby any day now that you could of already had a child is inhuman. I don't want to stress her or the baby out anymore than what has been done to them.

"Ok I didn't."

"Trey, you gotta listen to me more."

"I know. I know."

"Can you shout to Calvin to bring up my water bottle please?"

"Yeah."

I went out of the room onto the landing and shouted in a downwards direction to Calvin.

"Cal, can you bring the water bottle?"

Silence.

"CAL!"

"What?"

"Can you bring the water bottle up please?"

"Yeah in a minute."

I went back into Khayla's room and picked up the bag to start to pack.

"He's bringing it up Kha."

Khayla was laying down facing the window.

"Why are you still talking to her?"

"Who?"

I turned round to see the sun glisten on her tears. She was holding my phone as I had received a text. She opened it and saw all she needed to see. I knew she was talking about Dami; I wasn't dumb nor was she.

"You know who."

"She's a friend."

"You promised me no more."

"She is just a friend."

"But you said to me, after last time no more lies or secrets!"

"I'm not."

"Tell me what's going on Trey!"

By this time, she was screaming at me with tears everywhere.

"Me and her aren't together."
