Zac~ Smores Date

"Perfect." You say as you fix your mascara. Tonight you were going on a date with your crush, and hopefully soon to be boyfriend. Not knowing what he had planned you just dressed casual. Cute, but casual. He was coming at 7, and it was 6:30. You had finished getting ready so that gave you 30 minutes to calm your nerves and collect yourself. And you knew you were going to need every minute.

Zac Love had been your crush for THE longest time. You were positive that you were in love with him. But, for the longest time you were just a face in the crowd. Literally. Zac was in a boyband who were your life savers. You had met him and talked to him a few times. He knew who you were but he didn't know you. At the last concert you went to, Zac recognized you and gave you a big hug. It wasn't until you went home that you found a piece of paper in your pocket. Scribbled on the paper was this

I KNOW THIS IS CLICHE, BUT I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE. WILL YOU GO ON A DATE WITH ME FRIDAY NIGHT? TEXT ME YOUR ANSWER.  Xxx-xxx-xxxx

After you fangirled a lot you texted him your reply. You didn't know if you could wait a whole week, but somehow you did. Suddenly there was a knock at the door, interrupting your flashback. Your nervousness crashing back into you.

Zacs POV

She opened door and your breath was literally taken away. Maya was so beautiful, and you only wanted her to be yours. "Hi" she says in a little shy voice that you adored. It reminded you of when you saw her and decided she was the girl you were going to serenade. You have thought about her ever since then, and finally got enough courage to ask her out. "Hey Maya, you look beautiful. Ready to go?" You say as you take her hand and lead her to your car.

Your POV

As you opened the door you couldn't believe that he was actually standing there. Part of you knew he would but part of you couldn't help but think that this was a prank. "Hi" you say to him. Taking in every ounce if his being.  He really was here. After a fee more seconds he replies and your heart melts. "Hey Maya, you look beautiful. Ready to go." And with that you take his hand as he leads you to his car.

On the drive to wherever you were going, you and Zac talked about everything. He wouldn't yellow we're he was taking you, but you didn't care. You thought it was going to be awkward, but it was like the two of you knew each other forever. When you started to drive up the canyon you kind of got an idea. "Are we going to have a fire." You ask him. "Shhhh don't ruin the surprise!" You take that as a yes.

You get to the campsite and Zac starts building a fire. You help him get the hotdogs and s'more makings from the trunk where he was hiding them. You sat down and couldn't help but watch him as he made the fire, admiring his Boy Scout skills. Once he was done he sat and snuggled close to you, putting his arm around your shoulder.

You talked as you roasted the hotdogs, and then as you made s'more. You couldn't help but think how perfect tonight has been. Suddenly Zac turned to face you. Taking your hands in his your heart starts to race. "Maya, I have something to tell you." He says, you nodding quickly. "Ever since the concert that I serenaded you at, I haven't been able to get my mind off of you. Will you be my girlfriend?" With that he kisses you as you say yes into the kiss. "Tonight was the best night of your life," you thought and smiled.
