Fluke had stepped out and showed us tied up Flash and...my dad. I look to Calum.

"Come on!" I grabbed his wrist. 

"Where?"

"The top of the Spiral." He tugged me back. 

"Jess no."

"What?" I stopped and looked at him.

"No." 

"Why not!" I said as my voice grew louder.

"Your dad said no matter what!"

"You dont get it..."

"What do you mean?"

"Your family arent supers. If they were you would understand." 

"But-"

"No if's or but!"

"Then tell me!" He yelled. This was the first time Calum had raised his voice.

"The last mission my dad was in was when Smash died! That was 5 years ago! Okay!"

"So what you dont think he can handle it?"

"When I was 10 I thought oh cool! Dads gonna go kick bad guys butts! Im 15! There is a big diffrence. Now I relize. Dad can die! He may not come home! Its all fun and games untill someone dies! You have 2 parents in a happy functioning home! It was strange to not have mom! Okay! It was strange at age 7 to have to start eating school food because mom wasnt around to make lunch! It was strange that my own dad couldnt use aluminum foil! And when he did he would get head achs! Okay! So how would you feel if you went from having the cool dad to being 8 and home alone?"

"Jess, Im so-"

"Save it Cal Pal. Now come on!"

"Yes! But like you said! were only 15 and 16!"

"Flash started when he was 15!"

 "So!"

"Calum! Please thats all of my family."

"FINE!" He yelled.

"Thank you!" I squeeled dragging him up to the enterance. I tried to opened the doors. "Locked." I kicked the door and the glass shattered.

"Hey kid! Where do you think your going!" Security yelled. 

"Im Crash." I said. I then dragged Calum up the winding stair case. We stopped at floor 49. 

"Where are we going?"

"We need the eliment of suprise on our side!"

"So.."

"We climb the fire escape!" We got out to the fire escape and started to go up it. Calum was humming Kumbaya My Lord while shaking. I look at him. "What the hell?"

"I-I-I dont like hights..." He whispered. 

"Come on! Supers have no fears!" I said. "No fears!" He rolled his shoulders and losened up. 

"No fears no fear!" He said and shoved past me. and ran up the flight of stairs. I got up right behind him. I was standing right where my knocked out father was. This was sad. The glass was dimmed. I couldnt see what was going on behind the glass. I walked twoards the door and slightyly giggled the handle.

"Locked..." I sighed. The only thing between me and my dads safety.

"I think this means we need to let the police deal with it..."

"Calum! No!" I said. "Im kicking down the door. "

"But. Its glass. We will be noticed!"

"Okay." I said. "I am willing to do anything."

"I guess its a super thing?"

"No. Thats my family..." I said. Calum started to walk twoard the door.

"Lets go." I ran to the edge of the of the railing. I then ran and kicked the door down. It smashed. In all the comotion I hid behind a box. Calum stood looking at  Dr.Fluke and people on the wall. There was a pit of acid by the wall. 

Dad... 

He was tied high above the acid. 

"Who are you..." Fluke hissed.

"Uh...um...er...C-Cal P-Pal..." 

"Who?" He questioned. "What is your power."

"I make p-people h-h-h-" He fainted...

"God Calum...." Ash whispered. 

"Well.." Fluke said. Going near Calum, he picked up the lifeless boy and tied him to the wall. "I dont belive that he did that..." Fluke refered to the destroyed window. I looked at my father. Crap... he noticed me. His eyes widened. I dont know if it was in fear or anger. "What are you lokin at? Hu...?" Flukes eyes followed to my boxes. He then started to approch my hiding spot. "Come out come out." He called. This guy is mental. I backed up. My space is becoming limited. I just cant let him grab me. I then backed into a box crashing out into the open.

"No!" My dad yelled. I stood up quickly. 

"Do you know him...?" How do I awnser... "Or did you come to save the citys hero Flash? Hmm?" I can awnser. He lunged for me. I jumpped out of the way, landing by the wall.

"No! Dont please!" 

"Why? Why do you care so much?"

"Dont hurt her...I am begging you..." I hid while he wasnt looking. He started to lower my Dad inch by inch. I jumped out takling Fluke. The rope was loose. I caught the rope. My dad was just inches above the hot acid. I pulled him up higher and tied the rope. My shoulders were then pulled back. I myself was too close to the hot acid.

"You know I can shove you in right now." He chuckled. I looked up. watching my father squirm. "But I wont. And I wont tie you to the wall like the others. I want to know why he cares so much..." I just wanted to spit in his face. But my dad was at risk... Whatever I do will effect him too. "Why..?" He said gently.

"Your a creep." I said in a low hollow tone. His strong hands were around my neck.

"Well if you wont tell me then maybe Michael over here will..."

"Stop! Stop dont kill her!" He looked at my father and then let go of me.

"Is this what I think it is?" He smiled. "Mike-Ro-Wave. was getting busy! Had something cooking in the oven!" I looked at him and I did what I wanted. 

I spit in Fluke's face. "Ah! God! Ew!" I then punched him in the face a few times. I kept kicking him. I then ran over to Ash and pulled him off the wall. 

"Get the police! Quick!" He was gone quickly. I then helped Ingrid off the wall. "Help me." I gestured to my Dad and the acid. 

"No!No!No!" Luke yelled causing thunder and lightning to crash. He walked near me and began to choke me. "If I go down someone must come with me..." The last thing I heard was my Dads screams and the last thing I saw I was his evil grin.
