I looked at Calum. Now what. Does this just mean no cool adventures, and we lost a friend. Great.

"Jess?" Calum waved his hand infront of my face. "Hellooo! Earth to Jess!"

"Hu?" I snapped out of my little thinking bubble. "What?"

"You were staring at my face."

"Oh. Well. Um nice face?"

"Thanks?"

"No. Just I was thinking. Summer is comming to an end. We did nothing."

"Well I mean. We kicked ass. Put Fluke in jail."

"Mental hospital." I corrected him.

"Okay. Um saved the city! That's nothing."

"No. That's not what I mean." I said getting up from my bean bag chair.

"I mean you were also dead for 10 minutes. Like is that what your looking for?" I shot him a glare. "What!"

"Anyway. I mean we wont get to fight off evil villans."

"Isn't that good"

"Good. Yes. But then that means that there wont be any fun in life!" I sigh.
