Thanks for adding my book to your reading lists, I love you all.

The next few days were spent handing over the shop to Ari, buying tickets and preparing our Stuff to be shipped to Nigeria. I didn't know if I was going to come back so I left just little stuff and the house, since the house was mine. I had to explain to Zoey why we were going to Nigeria. She was very sad at first and she wasn't talking to me for about two days but she got used to it and knew I wasn't joking. She asked why we had to leave

Mummy?

Yes baby.

Why are we moving???

We have to go see your grandpa, he has a heart issue...

I'm so sorry mum, are we going to see Aunt IJ and grandma?

Yes baby, Aunt IJ is on holidays now.

OK, but I'm going to miss my friends, especially Nika.

I know baby, we would call occasionally and you could even face-time Ari and Nika. Hopefully we would be back sooner than you expect, just pray to God to make grandpa better.

OK mummy. She was smiling now

I managed to convince her but I knew more questions were coming, sooner or later she's going to ask after her dad.

Later in the evening, we went over to Ari's to have some fun and partly because Zoey had been begging to go there. I wasn't in the mood for eating so I just had a drink while Zoey ate pizza. I was still drinking when Ari brought up an issue that had been bugging me

Florence, I turned to look at Ari.

Yes??

Now that you're going to Nigeria, how much longer do you think you could keep Zoey away from Richard, from what you told me about him, I don't think Zoey should be around him.

I know, I've been thinking about it lately, I don't have any plans to give Zoey to him, plus I'll try as much as I can to avoid him.

OK b, just stay safe and remember to call and face time us

Ohh, I have plans to always run your battery down with my calls and messages, you'd have to beg me to stop.

You're not serious.

It was time for us to leave, my phone was vibrating making me know my phone was ringing, IJ's name was on the caller ID.

Sis how are you, I said as I picked up

I'm fine Loren, how's Zoey??

She's fine, she upstairs with her friend, we went over to Ari's. She knew Ari because when she came visiting last year we went over to Ari's.

OK, how's Ari by the way??

She's good, John's been taking good care of her, It was obvious Ari was blushing now

Sis, dad's condition has gotten worse. He almost had a flat line today

Oh my God, where's mum now???

She's at home, the doctor told her to rest, staying up late every night is telling on her.

OK, we'll be coming back home tomorrow, take care of yourself IJ

ok sis, bye.

I dropped the call and Ari noticed I looked sad so she asked me what was wrong, I told her what IJ just told me

That's not good, you have to leave tomorrow.

I know, I'll miss you Ari, she pulled me into a tight friendly hug

You'll be fine, everything is going to be ok

I pray so, I said.

Richard's POV

I groaned as I woke up to my phone ringing, I looked at the screen to see my assistant calling. I ignored it because I knew exactly what she was calling for, I was late for our business trip again. I went into the bathroom quickly to have my bath. Within 15 minutes I was done. After getting dressed I went downstairs to have some food. When I was done I called my driver to bring the car out so we could go to the airport, I was tired of my assistant's consistent whining, I didn't know why she thought she had the right to question me maybe it was because I was sleeping with her.
I picked up my phone to call her to let her know I'd be at the airport soon. After about an hour later, we were at the airport, Clara my assistant came over to take my suitcase as we walked together

Is the plane ready?? I asked her because we were taking my private jet

Yes sir, we just have to wait for one of the hostesses

Why isn't she here yet??

She has a little problem so we're waiting for the person taking her place.

OK, whoever that is, the person has to be here in the next 20 minutes

OK sir, I have to make some calls.......

She was still rambling when I saw a little girl walking around looking lost, she looked around three to four years old, I walked up to her to ask what's wrong.

Hi. I said as she looked up to look at me, she was very cute and her hair was up in a bun. I don't know why but she looked vaguely familiar.

I can't find my mummy, she looked sad and the way she spoke made me know she wasn't brought up in Nigeria

I can help you find her

Really?? She asked and her face lit up.

Yes. I smiled and I took her hand in mine. what's your name little girl?

I'm Zoey, her name confirmed what I was thinking, because that name wasn't common in Nigeria.

Yeah the part I've been waiting for is almost here😍. Thanks for your support guys. Don't forget to vote
