Line 20 - Thor Odinson

Line: "This is why we can't have nice things."

You watched with amusement as the team walked back in through the doors, looking completely exhausted. "Tough mission?" you asked, raising a brow as Thor groaned, "Tough day." he sighed, walking towards you before wrapping his arms around you, pulling you into a close hug, you chuckled gently and hugged your boyfriend back, smiling softly, "Aw poor you." you rubbed his back comfortingly, "You sound like you need a nice hot bath, yeah?" you offered, making Sam and Tony snort.

"Manly." Tony commented and you just rolled your eyes, "Shut up, Stark," you insisted. You pulled away from Thor's hug gently and offered your hand. He accepted and let his large hand swallow yours up in the hold, letting you guide him down to your shared bedroom. "Sit." you insisted, helping him lie back onto the bed, "I'll run the bath, you just stay here."

Thor did as he was told, kicking off his shoes and pulling off his protective gear then lying back and grunting as his back cracked, "I've never been thrown around so much.." he mumbled, more to himself, earning a chuckle from you, "The hot water will relax your muscles, don't worry." you tried to ease him, walking into your en suite and beginning to turn on the water taps, letting the steaming water fill up the bathtub quickly.

You wanted to calm him fully, so you decided to take out your fancy candles, lighting them up and sitting them around the bath, letting the scent of lavender burn off them and adding a yellow glow to the room. Then you went to your products shelf and lifted the bubble bath liquid, opening up the cap and pouring some in to mix with the hot water, bubbles erupting almost immediately.

You smiled proudly at the creation, the last touch would be music, lifting your own phone you turned on your soothing playlist, letting it attach to the speakers. Even you sighed in content at the aura of the room, waiting for the bath to fill up.

It took time, but eventually the bath was filled rather nicely, enough water for Thor at least. You smiled successfully before standing up, walking back into the bedroom to get Thor, who was almost asleep on the bed, "Thor?" you spoke softly with a smile, "You want to come in to the bathroom now?"

Thor looked up and grinned sleepily, nodding, he lifted his tired body off the bed and dragged himself into the en suite, looking like he would pass out any moment. "Wow.." he mumbled, "Y/N, this is all so nice.." he smiled widely, which made you smile too, "Come on, get in," you grinned.

Thor looked excited really, he hurried over to the bath and pulled off his shirt, letting it drop to the floor, then following were his trousers and his boxers, kicking them aside, you chuckled slightly as you watched the pure joy of his face. But Thor literally jumped into the bath, causing the water to rise and spill out the sides, making a number of candles not only burn out but fall to the floor.

"Oops.." Thor spoke, but quickly began grinning at the warmth of the bath. You just huffed at him, "See Thor?" you rose a brow, "This is why we can't have nice things." you shook your head at him.

He simply smiled sweetly back at you, "Thank you for this.." he chuckled softly, letting his body relax back into the bath, "I really don't deserve someone as amazing as you." he sighed happily.

You rolled your eyes and kneeled down beside the bath, "Be quiet, and you're welcome," you smiled, your hand going to his hair, smiling softly as you ran your hand through it, "Your hair used to be so long.." you bit your lip, remembering when you could tie his hair in a bun and Thor just chuckled, "I remember.. But now.. I think it looks good? No?"
"Definitely it does." you laughed, "I just liked your hair long a lot. It was sexy." you grinned, making Thor smile proudly.

"You know, this bath has room for another," he rose a brow, grinning up at you. And you just laughed, "This bath was meant to calm your muscles down, nothing else." you shook your head at him, and he just rolled his eyes, "It would definitely calm me down though?" he tried to bargain, but you just shook your head, laughing, "Nope."

Thor rolled his eyes, leaning over and connecting his lips with yours, kissing you sweetly, "Thank you still, Y/N, you're truly perfect," he sighed happily.

You just grinned at him, "Quiet. Now I'll be right back, I need more candles since you decided to ruin mine." you laughed, standing up.
