Chapter 4

Bella's P.O.V

I looked at the clock. Wow I was out through a couple periods. It's lunch. Ugh. I hate school. Almost every person here is fake, or rude. I thought to myself. "Hey Bella." I turned to see the nurse smiling. I waved. "How are you feeling?" Horrible. "Great." I lied. The nurse nodded. "You can go back to class now." The nurse smiled. I nodded and sat up from the couch. I walked out of the room.

I turned the corner into the office. They were all looking at me. I really don't care right now. I kept walking with my head down. I reached the door in what felt like an eternity. I opened the double doors and walked out, shutting the door quietly behind me. I stopped in my tracks. Who should I sit with at lunch? Kat.

Kat is lovely. I continued walking with that thought. I twisted around a corner. I looked up to see hall double door that lead to the lunch area. I crashed through the doors. The doors opened to Calum, Luke (who had tattoos) and Michael. I miss the old Calum. "Hi Calum." I smiled. "Hey Bella! What's goin on?" I shrugged. Calum walked over to me and hugged me. "Cal, I've got to go. Kat is probably looking for me." I shot Luke a glance. He was already looking back. He nodded. He let go. "Bye Cal!" He waved in response.

I turned one last time. Calum smiled. I smiled and turned away. I started walking where Kat and I usually hang out. It started getting cold. Shit.. I forgot a jacket. I kept walking. I heard thunder overhead. Fuck... rain.

I continued walking despite the rain. It's freezing. I spotted Kat through the rain. She was sitting with someone in a beanie. "Kat!" She and the person with the beanie turned. I can't see who it is. "Bella!" Kat chanted. I walked over to them. "Bella, where's your jumper?" I shrugged.

"I thought it would be warm." I said shaking. Kat pulled me into a hug. It's so cold. "Oh. Sorry. This is Luke. Luke this is Bella, the girl you brought to the office earlier." She gestured. I nodded. "Hi Bella." The boy said. I smiled. "Hi." Kat sat down, so I sat next to her shivering. Luke looked at me sadly.

"Hey Bella." I turned my head to look at Luke. "I know this is awkward and we just met, but would you like my jumper?" Awhh that's so sweet. Kat nudged my arm with her elbow. I smiled. "You need something to keep you warm though." I felt guilty. "No I'm actually quite warm." I looked at Kat. She smiled.

I nodded. Luke took off his hoodie, his shirt came up a little exposing a bit of his stomach. I couldn't really see his face that we'll because of the rain. He handed me his hoodie. "Thanks Luke. I really appreciate it." He nodded. I pulled the hoodie over my head. Oh God it smells good.

Kat broke the silence. "So Guys..." I turned my head. This hoodie is so warm. "How are both of you? I mean I'm great." I shivered. How did I shiver? I'm warm. "I'm okay." Kat nodded. "And you Luke?" I shivered again. He looked at me. "I'm good actually. Thanks." Now my teeth were chattering. "Bella, how are you that cold?" I shrugged. Luke stood up. Is he leaving me? Am I that bad?

Just when I started to think, I felt someone sit next to me. Kat giggled. I was blushing. "Uhh.." Luke spoke. "Do you wanna cuddle? I mean to keep warm.. Oh God sorry I sound like a creep." He started turning. I giggled. "Yeah, sure Luke." I bet he's warm.

Kat smiled. She winked at me. "Ka-" just then, Luke's arms were around me.

Luke's P.O.V

Bella was still shivering.. I feel bad. I stood up. I walked around the table when Bella was sitting down. I turned back and mouthed 'sorry' to Kat and she just smiled and gestured. I sat next to Bella. Kat giggled. Causing me to smile. "Do you wanna cuddle?" Luke, you sound like a creep. "I mean just to keep warm... Oh God.. sorry I sound like a creep." I started turning to get up. Bella giggled. "Yeah, sure Luke." I heard.

I looked up at Kat. She smiled. I looked back down. Bella began to speak, I put my arms around her, and she stopped. I looked back to Kat. She was grinning from ear to ear. Bella turned, and put her arms around me. This feels perfect. "Sorry to ruin the moment guys... but do you guys wanna play 20 questions?"

"Sure." Bella responded. Kat's eyes were on me. I nodded. "Okay." Kat spoke. "My question is to Luke. Does your brother have a girlfriend?" Bella laughed. I chuckled. "No, not that I know about." She nodded and smiled. "Okay Luke, your turn." I nodded. "My question is to... Bella. Bella, do you have a boyfriend?" She laughed and shook her head. "No. Do you have a girlfriend?" I shook my head no. "Okay Bella, that's your question. Back to you Luke."

"Okay. For Kat." She looked up to me. "Are you crushing on my brother?" She blushed. "Ooooo" I heard Bella say. I chuckled. "Uhh-" the bell rang cutting her off. "Saved by the bell!" She giggled. I smiled. I let go of Bella. "Uhh I'll see you later? Oh, and keep my jacket, you can return it to me whenever." I said. "Okay, I can't thank you enough Luke." I smiled. I shrugged.

"Uhh..." She unwrapped her arms from around me. "It's okay." I laughed. She got up. "C'mon Bella." Kat giggled. She grabbed Bella's hand. I waved. "Bye Luke."
