I don't know when my memories came back.

I don't know what caused them to come back, to return to me.

But I remember everything. From this life and the last. I remember Amtrenai and I growing up together in the castle with our siblings, visiting our friends in the city below. The lush greens and crystal blue water everywhere. Animals that never existed before roaming and living in peace with the mortals, flowers of colors in every shade and shape, and the air. The air was free of poison and fumes that toxicated everyone.

The night sky that twinkled with stars so clear you couldn't believe it was real. And in the horizon of the night─a small planet just above the mountains─was the royal family, watching over the planet they protected. The mortals, and even us immortals, respected them. They only came to earth once every millenia to check on us and to see if anyone is eligible to reside on their planet, Eskyria*. Only the people chosen by them live in eternal peace, never bothered and treated almost as good as the family.

How I wish I could at least set foot on the planet, but sadly I died and never got the chance. Even now that I remember and I'm alive again, I can't. Eskyria is gone. Nowhere to be seen, but I know that it's still out there, somewhere.

"Leo! Get up dude!" One of the campers said. They stood above me, a soccer ball tucked under one hand and water bottles in the other. "We wanna play here, can you move?"

"But why?" I look to them, the sun behind them not bothering my sight at all. "I was here first."

"Please, Leo? Everywhere else is full of campers, there is literally no place to play." Another asked. I closed my eyes to think about my answer hearing a few groans of annoyance. I sit up and pointed to the one next to me, who I believe is the one to brought the others. "Only if I get first kick?"

"Deal." He tossed me the ball.

I stood up and dusted off my clothes and dribbled the ball a bit further away. Stopping the ball a good distance away and stepping a couple steps behind the ball, I kicked it to them and walked off. Wondering what I could do to past the slowly moving time. I swear, ever since the memories came back, time has been going by so slow. Like snail slow. I guess this is how it felt before I died, watching the mortals grow and die along with the animals.

As I walked around the camp, I noticed how these people wouldn't stand a chance living in the old earth. The animals would scare them, the plants could kill them, and the monsters─well they'll be the same.

The pavillion came into my view when I was "gently" nudged that way. The reason I saw this is because a group of campers, approximately 20, led me there saying something about Piper. They rambled at the same time that she was crying and screamed, she fell to the ground calling for me. Getting scared I quicked my pace, almost running to where a circle of even more campers gathered.

I pushed through them to see, just as they said, Piper on the ground, shellshocked. Dried tear streaks dawned her cheeks and shaking hands holding onto Annabeth who didn't know how to help. Kneeling down to her, I asked in a very brotherly way, "Piper! Are you ok?"

She looked at me and hugged me like her life depended on it. Her hands gripped my shirt, as if she hadn't seen me in a long time. Which she technically hasn't seeing as how she died and only knew me as a friend from a school for misfits. Piper probably just remembered something big, small things wouldn't trigger a reaction like this. "I...I wanna go home."

"Piper?" Jason asked softly. He looked around to the crowd and told them to go back to what they were doing. I picked her up (which proved to be relatively easy) and walked to the forest. It was a long walk, I'll admit, but it was the only place where no one could hear us. Going to bunker 9 would be better, but Jason and the others would expect me to take Piper there. And if she remembers something, I can't risk it.
