10. Lets Go Get Jack

Chapter 10

"Where's Jack?"

"We thought he would have been with you?"

"I told him to wait for me at his locker..."

"That's weird... Here comes Leo. Maybe he knows."
Leo comes walking up with the same confident smile and walk that's made almost every girl in the school fall in love with him. "Hey." He says as more of a question.

"Hey babe." Kelly says as she walks over to him. They hug and kiss briefly. You love how laid back of a couple they are.

"What's wrong?" He asks.

"We have no idea where Jack is."
I tell him.
"Wait, you guys still think he's coming?"

"Well, yeah. Why wouldn't he be? Olivia invited him earlier."

"Derricks here." Leo looks from Kelly to you not knowing how much this could affect you. "Some guys were talking about him in 6th period and about what he did to that girl... I heard them say something about a fight. Apparently Derrick came up here at lunch with some guys from college and they were looking for Jack."

"Why Jack?" Kelly asked.

"I don't know. Maybe he's the guy that got Derrick expelled."

"We need to find him them!" You said already walking towards the back doors.

"Wait up!"Kelly yells from behind you.

"I can't let Jack get hurt!"

"I don't think it's your fault if he does!"
You stop immediately and turn around.

"I'm the girl that Derrick attacked. Jack was the guy who found us and got Derrick caught. Now Derricks probably livid because he's expelled, and he's going to take it out on Jack." Kelly and Leo stood there shocked.

"Oh Olivia... I-"

"Yeah I know." You look at her with tears starting to form in your eyes. She takes a step towards you and gives you a hug. Kelly and Leo are the only people you've told besides your mom and the principle and you're not sure what's going to happen.
"You guys can't tell anyone. I'm serious."

"Okay, We won't. Right Leo?"

"Right." Leo pulls Kelly into a hug and wipes the tears off her cheeks.
He wraps one arm around you. "Now let's go find Jack."
