Pepper was just minding her own business in her room at the compound when F.R.I.D.A.Y suddenly told her if Peter Parker was here. Pepper thought for a second, the name sounded familiar, then she stood up and realized that she knew exactly who it was.

She asked F.R.I.D.A.Y to escort Peter Parker into the living room while Pepper was checking on her last paper work. The AI told her if Peter was currently going to the living room. Pepper checked her watch, noticing that at this time, Peter was supposed to be at school and today was Monday. Tony had told her if Peter usually spent his time more at the weekend. So, got a notification which was saying the boy was here, triggered Pepper.

So she went downstairs as soon as she finished her work. Tony told her many things about Peter. He was 15 year old, currently a high school student in Midtown High School, he had an aunt who was taking care of him, and really genius (Tony added this one with so much passion). And basically, many more things that Pepper began to think Tony was actually stalking the boy (Tony somehow managed to know that Peter was allergic to any kind of nuts). She had to sneer at him, before getting the answer if he was actually putting an AI into a "baby monitoring protocol" for him to watch over the boy.

From what Pepper heard, Peter was literally a very talkative person. She could tell by how much the groaning Happy told her whenever he talked about the boy. So Pepper was clearly expected to be greeted by a loud cheerful voices when she entered the living room. Instead, she found it pretty quiet. Well, the compound it self was already quiet since what happened between the Avengers. She was really shocked when Tony told her that the Avengers had broken apart and recently had fight in Germany. Even Natasha was a fugitive now since she helped Steve Rogers to run away in the last minute. So basically, Tony was all alone since Rhodey was sometimes still went under a treatment for his legs.

Because of the fight in Germany, Tony met Peter. He went to Queens to pick up the boy to team up with him. That was what made Pepper angry the first time she heard about it. Tony would never change, he will always be an arrogant and greedy man. But then she heard the event when some guy was trying to steal the Avengers weapons inside the plane and Peter was the one who saved it from being stolen. She heard about it from Tony, that the thief was the father of Peter's girlfriend. Peter was the one who told Tony the entire story a month after the incident. How tragic that would be? So that was when she decided that maybe Tony could change, by trusting  himself in a very good teenage boy.

But when Pepper came into the living room, she was faced with an injured Peter Parker. The boy's clothes was wet despite today was clearly a sunny day, and he was trying to cover up some of his injuries with band aids he took from the  first aid from the corner. It was all Pepper's idea to put the first aid in every room at the compound since Avengers seemed to often get injured either from their missions or sparing time. Pepper was running towards the boy the minute Peter has troubled installing the bandages to his left arm.

"What happened to you?" Pepper immediately helped the boy installing the bandages. Peter shocked, he froze in his place. Not expecting the famous Pepper Pots to help him put the bandages. Peter was ready with any questions that Tony would possibly asked him, but he was not ready to meet her. Tony Stark's girlfriend, the current CEO of Stark Industries and the woman MJ idolized the most as what MJ always called the "woman of her generation".

Peter hesitated a bit. Tony had warned him about Pepper. That Pepper was the most brave and fearless yet the kindest woman he ever met, but could scare the living hell out of you the minute you lied to her. Tony had lied to her once, and he ended up loosing 2 ribs in his body. Peter gulped, his eyes was as wide as the supermassive blackhole. If it was Tony, Peter could have just lied then locked himself in his room inside of the compound since Tony had allowed him to stay overnight at the compound everytime he wanted. But lied to Pepper Pots? Peter would not dare enough to think about it. And the minute she rushed over to help him put the bandages, reminded him so much about Aunt May. She was kind, but could hit your ass with her heels.
