"Mister Stark?"

When Peter was sad, Ben would always hug the little boy and May would sing him a song. Then Ben would set a tent in the living room, and May would put a mattress, pillow, and blankets inside of the tent for them to sleep inside. Together, they would turn their small living room into a whole new camping side. Ben would grab his ukulele and sang him a song, saying it was Ben's grandfather who used to sing it for him. Little Peter would curl up with May as he fell asleep through the song.

Peter never knew his parents or how they looked like. Ben and May told him if they were dead because of an accident. Which accident, both Ben and May never mentioned it. Peter did not matter if he never knew any of his parents, for him, his uncle and aunt were more than enough for him to have. However, the nightmares did not want to help his mind at all. He would find himself, screaming at two figures who died in front of him, arms trying to reach out for them. He was pleading, begging, asking for help. Calling anyone's name but no one came to help him and his parents. Somehow, Peter felt like their death were because of him.

When he woke up, he would scream and cry. Once he pushed Ben away because he was too afraid and lost. He frankly remembered who he was and May needed seven minutes to calm him down before his cry turned into small sobs. Then Ben died. It all made a whole new worst experience to Peter. Every night, he would dream about his uncle. The guilty and sadness were stabbing his heart, making a huge whole inside of it. Sometimes, when he had to save people from mugging in the dark alley, Peter needed to brave himself before helping the victim. How could Spider-Man afraid of a dark alley when people usually attacked someone in that particular specific obvious place? He would embarrass himself, and the bad guys would think of it as a benefit for them to attack the vigilante hero.

Tonight, when Peter stayed overnight at the compound, he woke up with panic attack. May had to go out of the town for two days and insisted to suggest Peter to sleep at the compound since she had found out about Peter being Spider-Man and his actual internship. She was about to forbid the boy from doing it, but upon seeing how Peter had strangely turned into his normal side and looked happy and alive, she allowed him to go as Spider-Man with a strict curfew. Peter dreamt about his uncle again, and the image was so unpleasant. He could still feel the blood on his hands, when he tried to stop the bleeding before his uncle died because of blood loss.

"Kid? What happen?" Tony immediately stood up from the couch. He was watching a movie with a cup of coffee in his hands, casually moving his fingers on his tablet screen, looking out his documents. He walked towards the boy, opened up his hands to tap Peter's shoulders.

Peter's head was down, he wiped away a tears who started to fall onto his cheeks. Then quietly whispering, "nightmares."

Tony looked concern, he extended his arms to hug Peter's side then bring him along to the couch to sit together. He knew Peter often got nightmares at night and he also knew about his panic attack. But usually, when Peter got all of those nightmares something was triggering him. Reminded him of his trauma.

"Let me guess, Flash?"

Peter nodded along, tightened the red blanket around him. Stupid Flash. This morning, at school, Flash intentionally mentioned about his uncle and how he died three years ago. Peter was about to punch him but MJ took away the glorious moment from him and kicked his ankle instead then made Flash fell on his back. When Flash said he would report it to their teacher, MJ casually said, with a smug face if Flash did not have any evidence and there were no one who noticed her did that. And even if Flash did report, all the students would only say if Flash was the one who started it by insulting Peter about his uncle. Basically, Flash lost and nothing he could do about it as he ran away with a dizzy head.
