2 : Busted Picture

I dragged myself out of bed and took a bath. It's Tuesday, and I despise this day too much. Not because of a weird drama, I just hate it. Not to mention it's been a tiring day when I showed Joshua around the school. I don't even know if he remembers any part of it. I stepped out of the bathroom and prepared for school.

As I was slipping my socks on, my phone rang. I sluggishly walked to where it was and pulled the charger out.

"Hello?" I answered with a heavy sigh.

"Hi, Million! I was wondering if we could have lunch together today?" It was Joshua's voice. I frowned.

"Haven't you pestered me enough yesterday?"

"Come on Mills, please?"

"No," I said sternly and ended the call. I opened it and broke my sim. Tsk, annoying.

I headed down and ate then asked Dad to drop me off at school. I haven't seen Cameron yesterday because of Joshua. The girls and I were supposed to go to the usual eating spot of Cam but I couldn't tag along. I'll make sure to see him today, he's my definition of perfection haha. Feeling a little better, I hopped off the car and walked to my locker.

Not expecting to see Cameron talking to Joshua beside my locker. I walked slowly and made sure not to show my face but for the love of God, Joshua called out to me.

"Mils! Good morning! You dropped the call—"

"Hi Cameron"

I said and smiled totally ignoring Joshua He just shut up and looked at Cameron and me talking.

"Thank you for helping Josh yesterday, he's such a pain in the ass sometimes you know? Hahaha"

"I totally agree"

"I didn't catch your name, what was it again?"

"Million, my name's Million"

"A cute name for someone like you. So let's hang out sometimes?"

"Uh, sure hehe"

Then Cameron left the two of us. I started screaming and irritated Joshua.

"OMGGGGGG!!!!! HE TALKED TO ME?! ME?! DID YOU SEE THAT JOSHUA?!"

"Of course I did dummy. Let's go, classes are gonna be starting soon"

He walked ahead of me. We reached the classroom and I was quite surprised he isn't bugging me, rather he was kinda quiet.

Class ended and Joshua was staring at me as I fixed my things. He suddenly waved around a picture of Cameron. I wasn't really bothered not until I saw the doodles on the picture.

"W-W-H-AT?! Why do you even have that! Give it back!"

He chuckled and smirked before sliding the picture back into his pocket.

"Only if you fulfill my conditions, Million"

He said looking so hopeful I would agree. I rolled my eye and stepped on his foot. He groaned.

"As if I'd agree"

I started stomping out of the room.

"You don't really have a choice Mills"

Joshua said and stopped dead on my tracks and looked back to him. Luckily it was only the two of us in the room so I wouldn't mind being hysterical again.

"What exactly are you implying to?"

He smirked devilishly. I literally got chills, and for a second I thought my heart beat loudly.

"Well I live in the same house as Cam, his bedroom is next to mine and he's my beloved twin brother....."

He trailed off and looked at me smiling.

"Wouldn't it be fun if I gave this picture to him? He'd be so happy to see this, you even wrote Million ♥ Cameron on the picture"

I started turning red in embarrassment. I slapped myself on the forehead and sighed.

"Okay fine, what're your conditions?"

I gave in. Of course, I didn't want Cameron to see how much I like him to the extent I even dreamt of us dating and marrying each other. Why on earth does it have to be Joshua to see that picture?!

"See you're finally making the right choice Mills. Okay, my first condition is you always have to come home with me."

Joshua said. I raised a brow.

"Uhm no?"

I answered.

"Oh okay, then I'll just tell him—"

"F-F-Fine!"

"Good. Then I'll see you at the gate. Go tell your friends first that you're going home with Joshua Robert Colley"

He chuckled and winked before leaving. Again my heart thumped loudly. The only reason my heart's beating for him is because he kinda looks like Cameron. Nothing more okay?

I sighed to myself and walked to our meeting place.

"Hey guys"

I sluggishly greeted them.

"Hey, Milli—what happened to you?"

Selena asked. Probably seen my face.

"You look like you're having a fashion nightmare, Millie. Are you okay?"

Catherine chuckled. I mimicked her smirk and rolled my eyes.

"I'm not going home with you guys today"

They both looked at me weirdly. Of course, they would, they clearly know that besides the two of them, I don't have any friends.

"I'm going home with someone else, only for today I think"

They smirked and awed at me before hugging me.

"You finally found a boyfriend, huh, our little virgin cutie is finally out of her Cameron world and sees a bigger picture"

Catherine cooed and brushed my hair with her fingertips.

"Uh no? Wouldn't date someone other than Cameron, duh."

I defended. I still like Cameron, he's my knight in shining sneakers since he's wearing sneakers on the first day I met him.

"Don't be so defensive Millieeee, so who's the lucky guy you're going home with today?"

Selena added as she turned off her phone after sending a message to her new online friend. Don't judge her, she's still pure after a lot of meetups. She still believes in fate and destiny hahaha.

"None other than —"

I was cut off when a car parked in front of us and the window in the back seat is opened by none other than, Joshua.

"Let's go, Million, we have a long night"

The two looked shocked as they heard what Joshua said. I stood up and dragged myself to his damn vehicle. Before I entered the car, Selena yelled.

"AND YOU SAID YOU WON'T DATE SOMEONE ELSE!"

I slammed the door shut. As I sighed, feeling a sense of relief that Joshua didn't hear what they said, I faced him and saw him smirking.

"You know us dating will be useful"

He said and chuckled.

"Dream on, ugh"

I rolled my eyes.
