Tea allowed a faint smile to grace her lips as she wandered through the dimly light hall.
"Seems I have a visitor..." A deep yet soothing female voice echoed from the darkness. "Come fo-" The voice sniffed the air as it paused. "Lilies and Hibiscus...Could it be?"
Tea stopped as she heard the floor boards down the dark corridor creak and beads clatter. She then took a deep breath and looked down as a figure quickly stepped in front of her. The woman was tall, about 5'7", her tar hair waved down to her hips, covering her breast. The red skirt she wore flaired loosely around her legs, dancing above the pine floor boards. The light of the candles softly illuminated the woman's porcelain body, her black finger nail, along with her finger lifted Tea's head as her other lowered the shoulder of her top, the womans claw like nails sent shivers down Tea's spine, but she kept her shiver at a minimum.
The woman looked over Tea's left shoulder, upon seeing the scar on her shoulder, the corners of her black painted lips curled up as she spoke, " Tea, darling...I always knew you'd survive." She spoke slowly as she wrapped her slender arms around Tea's body.
"I have missed you as well, Eeridessa." Tea smiled as she returned the hug, worry laced her eyes, Eeridessa felt the worry fill the air as she pulled from the hug.
"There is a reason you are here...a child, but who's?"
Tea inhaled softly, "My daughter, Britha, is ready for Labour."
Eeridessa turned and headed back into the darkness as she spoke, "Bring her..." Ver voice echoed as the floor board creaked. Tea nodded and left to get Britha.
She opened the door and waved for them to enter. The others then came into the house, slightly creeped out by the darkness, the floor illuminated by flickering candle light. Britha waddled down the hall, holding onto Degan as they follow Tea down the hall. The hall then opened wide, Eeridessa sat on what looked to be an alter, surrounded by candles and red rose petals. At the base of her feet a pool of water layed still.
Eeridessa stepped into the water, it turned crimson as she was now waist deep. "Come into the water, Britha." Eeridessa held her arms out to the sides and began to make symbols with her fingers as she slowly rolled her head around.
Degan helped Britha into the water then stepped back. Britha released a groan as she felt something rock through her body. "W-what is this feeling?" Worry laced her glowing orbs as she clenched her stomach, a small hand pressed against her hand from under her flesh.
"That would be pain, dear. In order for you to give a proper birth, you must feel pain." Eeridessa then spoke in her born tongue, the water shifted then formed into a table of soarts, Eeridessa continued to speak as she assisted Britha on the crimson, tar like table.
"Patéras Alciel daneízo mou exousía..." Were the only words Tea recognized. Eeridessa was asking Alciel, her father, for power or assistance. As the words left Eeridessa's lips the house shook violently, throwing everyone off balance except Eeridessa and Britha. The tremors stopped and Eeridessa's black hair turned scarlet red, the white of her eyes swallowed the other color in her eyes, making them white, a black slit appeared in the center, which was now her pupil. Her black lips turned deep red as her tongue slid over her double rows of razor like teeth. She released a snarl as she locked her eyes onto the pain filled eyes of Britha.
"D..Degan!" Britha looked about frantically as she clenched the edge of the table and sat up. Not being used to pain amplified it, making her expiriance twice as worse. Eeridessa stepped up to the table as what looked to be crimson water leaked from thw altar, pouring into the pool like area.
"Your child is a Koílos, a Hollow. Therefore it must be born in the world of it's father. The water will act like a portal, you must do as I say in order for you and your child to survive this, Britha."
Britha nodded as she released a groan, tears filled her eyes as Tea turned to Degan. "You're a Rakshasa!?" She growled out deeply and stepped closer to Degan. "If your creator does not accept my grandchild I will decimate you. You will know why they kept me in a cage for 8 years..." Her voice was low and deep, anger rippled through her eyes as Degan swallowed hard. That was why he couldn't find her...she had just been released from capture. He had forgotten how dangerous Tea was because of her sweet and kind nature.
He nodded, knowing that Tea was one of the few people in the world that could destroy him with just a finger.
Tea then turned and watched as the water filled the pool and devoured Britha and Eeridessa.
. . .
Britha gasped as she opened her eyes. Her mother, Degan amd Leon were nowhere to be seen as her surrounding had shifted. A tall man towered over her, his snow white hair hung in front of his face, his snake like red eyes traced over her body. He wore a black suit that had red accents and showed off his muscular, pale body. His hand cupped her cheek and turned her head. He then squeezed her hand in his and nodded to Eeridessa. "Egó apodéchomal.." His voice was rough and dark, a smile formed on his lips as Eeridessa knelt into possition.
"Push, Britha...Take deep breaths and push." Eeridessa pushed open Britha's legs as she pushed, releasing a loud scream as the pain shook her frail body. "Squeeze his hand if you must"
After 15 minuets of pushing and screaming, Britha gave birth to a boy. The child had quite a bit of hair, it was a curly, thick, chestnut brow. His eyes were caramel, with a tint of red and orange, like fire. The child had Degan's skin tone. The man waved goodbye as the water swallowed the three of them.
Tea paced back and forth, quickly turning on her heel when they arrived. The water dissipated and Britha sat up on the table, holding her son in her arms. Degan quickly rushed down to her, a wide smile perched on his lips as he looked over the child. "Shit..."
Everyone glared at Degan, Tea cleared her throat, "Is there a problem?"
Degan scratched his head with a sigh. "You can tell he's mine..."
. . .
They made their way back to the truck and all piled in, the baby in Britha's arms as Eeridessa waved goodbye. It was going to be a long way home.
