Degan jumped up as the front door slammed shut. Zavoor sat a large, brown paper bag with a white piece of paper stapled to the folded over opening and a two-liter of soda on the coffee table in front of the couches. She then released a low growl as Slick squinted his eyes at her. The door swung open and Halic came in then closed the door. The girl's black hair was pulled into two buns on her head with lose strands on the sides of her face. She looked upset as her deep green eyes followed Zavoor as she headed up stairs.

"Why do you always get mad when I talk to him?!" Halic loosened her hold on the plastic bag in her left hand, her voice was slightly deep but gentle. Her words did nothing to stop Zavoor, but caught a growl in response. "Seriously! What is wrong with you?!" Halic dropped the bag on the table, her eyes remained on Zavoor.

"He doesn't care about you, none of them do. They'll use you then toss you aside like a piece of shit. You are NOTHING to him but a piece of ass!" Zavoor snarled her words with an angry thrash as she pushed past Guri at the top of the stairs. "She's been talking to Juril again.." Her words were then followed by a loud slammed door.

Halic huffed as she rolled her eyes and headed back into the basement. "I'm not you..." Her voice was a low whisper. She then stomped down the basement stairs as Guri came down the others, an agitated and worried look sprawled across his face as he sat on the furthest end of the couch near the door. Degan relaxed while the thick tension slowly evaporated from the air, he looked to Slick as he sat up and covered his yawn.

"Sorry 'bout that." Guri shook his head, oppening the brown bag and pulling out the foil wrapped subs and Styrofoam container of fries. "There's 'nough for everyone, so help ya'selves." He removed the foil from one of the subs and used it as a napkin to keep anything that fell from the sub from getting everywhere.

The smell of the grease made Degan blink and make a face. "Thanks, but I'm good. Think I'll step out for some air though." He stood up as Slick reached for a sub, giving Degan a glance then a nod. Degan then looked down as he went around the small table and out the door. As he pulled the door closed, something pulled it back as if trying to stop him.

"Excuse me..." Zavoor's voice proved what Degan had thought. He knew she was there, the sound of her nails tapping the metal knob as she grabbed it gave her away. He stepped to the right, pushing the door open with his left hand and letting her walk beneath his arm. He noticed she had changed, though the dark blue hoodie was large and baggy on her; the prominence of her curves stated that she hadn't just thrown it on over her previous outfit. Zavoor smiled softly, "Thank you, Sir." Her smile quickly disappeared as she huffed softly and headed down the front steps then started to look around the sidewalk and grass lining it.

Degan let the door close as he pushed a dread from his face then slipped his hands into his front pockets, following her down the steps but at a slower pace. "No need to be so formal. Just call me Degan." His eyes shifted unnoticeably to a pale bronze as he watched her search, using her boot to shift the grass. "If you don't mind me asking, what are you looking for, krásny?" A small, curious smirk danced onto Degan's lips as he watched her stop for a moment.

Zavoor's grey cheeks gained a very pale shade of pink as Degan spoke and stepped closer. She was less surprised by the fact that he knew Obluda and more caught off guard by the word he said in the language. She nipped on the small chapped piece of skin on her bottom lip as something metallic looking caught her eye. "It's-" She paused with a blink, deciding not to finish but change the subject. "It's just something that fell from my key chain." As Zavoor spoke she lowered herself, moving the blades of grass to pick up the object. As she did so, the collar of the hoodie slipped to the side and revealed the back of her left shoulder. She mumbled something, dropped the object and stood up.
