It was the next morning, the house sturred as everyone woke. Britha sat in the living room, breast feeding, covered by a thin blanket as her mother came into the room. "How are you feeling?" Tea asked as she leaned over the back of the couch.
Britha yawned as she smiled faintly, "Ah'm alret, mum. Think Ah'll go out en get sem air." She stood and made her way out back and into the yard. Tea smiled and watched from the deck as Degan approached Britha.
"How's he doing?" Degan smiled and gently caressed Ezekiel's head as he slept in his mothers arms.
Before she could even respond, Miranda rushed out of the house, her heart pounded hard in its cage as tears rolled down her hazel cheeks. She held two things in her hands, Tea didn't realize what they were till it was too late.
"I KNEW IT!" Miranda choked out her words as she made her way to Degan and Britha. "HOW COULD YOU LIE TO ME?!" Once close enough she threw the book, Britha's diary, at Degan, hitting him in the chest. "EVERYTHING I'VE DONE FOR YOU AND YOU'RE GOING TO TRY AND REPLACE ME?!"
Degan's eyes widened as he heard her heart beat wildly in his ear. She was furious, her grip on the 9mm in her left hand tightened as she raised the gun, her hand shaking as she choked on her tears, her mascara ran down her cheeks and smudged on her face.
She quickly swung the gun, now aiming at Britha. "If you thi-" She quickly dropped the gun and gasped for air, wrapping her hands around her throat as she tried to breathe.
Tea's solid black orbs locked onto Miranda as she approached her from behind. She simply held her hand out, her palm facing Miranda's back. Once she lifted her hand, Miranda lifted off the ground and spun, now facing Tea. Hate and disgust ran rampid through Tea as she lowered her hand, lowering Miranda as she now stood nearly 3 centimeters from her. "Degan, take her into the house. Keep everyone inside. Do not come out until I come inside."
Degan nodded and took Britha inside, turning back once as the grass and flowers aroung Tea slowly died and withered away to nothing.
Once inside Degan pressed a button and all the windows and doors in the house immediately locked.
Tea's silver hues glowed softly as she released her hand, Miranda gasped for air as it entered her body. She the collapsed to the ground. Tea gripped the collar of Miranda's shirt and lifted her off the ground.
"Now you listen to me. If you EVER threaten my daughter, my grandson or I again, you will beg for Alciel himself to take your life. No one will hear your desperate screams for help, your painfilled cries. Yet I will ensure that they ALL will see your blood as it seeps into the ground, staining Epecien for eternity." Tea's voice was low and harsh, her tone threatening and serious. She released Miranda, and turned on her heel, hoping that she wouldn't have to act on her words. She prayed the woman wasn't as foolish as she seemed.
Sadly, her prayers were ignored. Miranda reached over and wrapped her fingers around the grip of the gun. She squeezed the trigger. Tea's movement seemed like a blur as she turned, catching the bullet between her teeth. Tea snarled as she spat out the bullet. Miranda pressed the trigger again. Tea stepped left, dodging one and twisted her abdomen, turning her upper body and leaning back, dodging another as she made way back to Miranda.
The woman staggered to her feet and held the gun with shaking hands as she struggled to keep track of Tea. She squeezed the trigger again as fear and confusion surged throughout her body. Tea caught the bullet between her index and middle fingers as she now stood mere centimeters from Miranda.
"Just remember, you did this to yourself. Do not blame anyone else." Tea whispered in her ear as she quickly took the gun from Miranda's hands and tossed it aside. She then gripped Miranda's hair in her left hand and yanked her head to the side. Miranda released a scream as Tea bit into her neck. A second later, Tea threw Miranda back and wiped her lips. Miranda could feel the icy liquid slither through her veins.
"Wh...What did you do to me?!" Miranda shouted out as she clenched her chest and colapsed onto her side, panting heavily, struggling to breathe.
"YOU did this, not I.." Tea reassured her. "Though due to your unnecessary actions, I had to take actions if my own. Right about now the Sarin inside of you is just about to reach your lungs..." She paused as Miranda gasped heavily as tears streamed her cheeks.
"You are currently suffocating due to lung muscle paralysis. Now  the Sarin will eat at the walls of your organs, causing you to bleed internally...That sharp pain in your chest, that's the Sarin destroying the valves of your heart as it's slowing to a halt, deprived of oxygen." Tea watched as blood oozed from Miranda's slightly parted lips, as her movements ceased, and her body lay still. Tea stood up and walked to the house.
It was tragic, for Miranda anyway. She didn't have to die in such a horrid and painfilled manner. Tea felt no remorse, no sympathy, no regret, she had warned Miranda, so her death was simply her own fault. Her eyes softened as she tapped on the glass of the back sliding door.
