Youre not taking Miles!

Okay guys so my mom's friend got me this journal and she's one of the only people who knows how sad I can get so I'm going to fill the journal up with cute short stories so if I neglect this story for a little please comment to remind me about it I'm so sorry if that happens I love you all I'm so happy you're reading my story again I love you all so much.

Aleria POV

"You what?!" I almost screamed at Jason. He came into my house and then wanted to take Miles back he couldn't do that! I mean this was my mom's house and Miles was his son but still!

"He can do what he wants Aleria" my mom said shooting me a look. I crossed my arms over my chest and Jason gave an exhausted sigh and a soft laugh.

"What's so funny?" I asked cocking an eyebrow trying my best to look pissed off.

"It's just when your mom was your age she was just like you when ever I was going on a quest she would demand to go with me with such an attitude like that" he said smiling softly. Reyna grinned looking away before looking back at Jason.

"My daughter doesn't need to hear about that. Don't give her ideas I don't want her running away with Ryan" my mom said

Miles who had been unusually quiet finally spoke

"No way would she ever run away with that guy" he said with a slight attitude himself. He looked over at me with that same protective look he had given me before him and Ryan spared.

"I mean why would she? She's already praetor and has her own responsibilities here" he said "Hey whoa I can do what I want" I said turning to him with my arms crossed.

"Yeah I know you can but I'm just trying to reassure your mom" he said grinning.

Then I heard my mom laugh. She actually laughed. "Jason your son is so much like you" she said giving him this look.

Miles and I looked at each other before he was shaking his head and our parents were talking and laughing about "old times".

"What's going on..?" I asked him softly

"I don't know but it's scaring me let's get out of here" he whispered taking my hand and dragging me upstairs. I held back a laugh as he entered my room.

"Hey!" I exclaimed "my underwear could've been everywhere!" I said

"No they couldn't have been you're not like that" he said pulling up my window.

"Yeah whatever but what are you doing?" I asked curiously watching him. "Sneaking out of course" he said wrapping his arms around my waist as we jumped out the window and he gently floated us down to the ground with a laugh as we ran towards the forest.
