Miles POV
Aleria smiled happily at me as she lead me down to the weapons shed. Reyna had her showing me around and even though I already had a weapon she wanted to show me this first.
"Come on! Gooo faster!" She laughed dragging me towards the shed. It was pretty big and when she opened it up had walls neatly lined with weapon after weapon. It was amazing.
"Whoa" I said softly. Aleria laughed at this "It's amazing isn't it?" She asked walking away for a moment. I stared at the imperial gold weapons so different from the bronze-gold sword I had. My dad got me this sword and well I didn't even know that gold was all Roman's used.
Suddenly Aleria was back with a boy at her side. He had untamable brown-blond hair with brown eyes and a lean muscular build. "Miles this is my best friend Ryan" she said smiling. Ryan and I shook hands before they went off to talk together.
I don't know what it was but in my stomach I felt something weird. It almost felt like jealousy
