Aleria POV
Miles and I had started walking in silence at first before I asked. "What's up with you and Ryan? Why do you guys always act like fucking idiots around each other? What's the whole point?"
More silence then finally after giving it a looooong thought Miles turned to me with an apologetic look on his face "You would get it" was all he said before turning away again.
That's all he had to say? Are you kidding me?
I wouldn't get it? What I didn't get was why he was being so secretive and not telling me why him and Ryan were like this. I had never seen any of them act like that besides when they were around me. Those idiots.
"Whatever" I said stomping back to the house which was a mistake because standing there by the door were my mom and Jason with death glares focused on me as Miles came running up into their view as well.
"Both of you house. Now." I heard my mom's stern voice she only ever used when she was mad as she opened up the door and trailed inside Jason right behind her. Miles looked at me before we both jogged in behind our parents shutting the door behind us.
"What were you thinking?!" I surprisingly heard Jason's voice instead of my mom's. Neither sounded nor acted like a disciplining type but apparently when needed they could be.
"I'm sorry it's just you guys were talking and we got bored so we went to the woods and feel asleep. Nothing happened" Miles said throwing his hands up to his sides in surrender. Jason ran a hand through his hair and I just realized how much they looked alike. The blonde hair and the blue eyes with the same lean muscle like figure.
"I just don't know why on earth you two would do something like that" my mom said running her hands down her cheeks obviously tired and annoyed.
"You're both grounded. No war games no training. It's house arrest for a week you're not going anywhere you can cook for yourselves" Jason said knowing what went on at the roman camp. And not to mention he knew my mother meaning they had talked this through the moment they found us missing and decided our punishments.
Or not. I just remember they honestly could've been freaking out because Jason had gone missing and.. Met Miles' mom...
"Fine" Miles and I said at the same time as I groaned. This would be a long week
