Alive (Darth Maul)

Imagine that you're a Jedi and someone you didn't expect suddenly reappears back in your life..

This is probably one of the longest fanfics I've done lol. Had to make a fanfic of Darth Maul cause I love him and he's one of my favorite characters in Star Wars lmfao. Also, this contains a scene from episode one "The Phantom Menace" but I skipped some parts of the the scene so yeah just a heads up.

--------------About 20 years ago--------------

"Master! The hostages are safe!" you announced as you ran up to the two other Jedi.

"Okay, excellent work y/n." Obi-Wan Kenobi, your master, replied.

"Not to ruin the mood, but we must still deal with the Sith apprentice before we celebrate!" Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan's master said.

You, Obi-Wan, and Qui-Gon were on the planet, Naboo, because the Separatists had gained control of the Queen's kingdom. They had taken the guards and politicians hostage and three of you were sent to rescue them.

Now, you had done that. Your group was about to leave until a large door slid open, revealing the Sith apprentice, Darth Maul, who wore a black robe.

You knew it was him because he caused a disturbance in the force and you knew that he was on the loose.

The three of you stood frozen, still shocked that the Sith were rising again.

Darth Maul calmly took off his hood, revealing his face.

He terrified you.

He had red skin that was filled with black tatoos. His head had six small but sharp horns sticking out of the top. His eyes were filled with yellow and red.

He also held lightsaber that was off in his hands.

He slowly lit it up and shockingly, red lasers came out from both ends of the handle. He held it out in front of him, posing to prepare for the fight that was going to happen.

You snapped out of it and quickly lit up your blue lightsaber. You held it in a defensive position in front of yourself. Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon did the same.

Darth Maul then lunged at the three of you.

Was he crazy? Truly, a Sith apprentice couldn't possibly fight off three trained Jedi, right?

Apparently he could. He easily blocked all your attacks with his lightsaber, using both of the ends to prevent either of you from slashing him.

He also threw in his own attacks, spinning his lightsaber around to hopefully cut one of you. Luckily, you all were able to dodge his blows.

He started flipping over and behind you as an attempt to confuse you but you were not going to let yourself be defeated by a Sith apprentice.

Obi-Wan tried lunging at him but was kicked back.

Darth Maul then force jumped away from you and the other two Jedi.

Using the force, he threw a canister at a switch, causing a large door to slide open.

The three of you then lunged at him again.

You all moved into the large area that had many floors and if any of you were to fall, you'd most likely fall to your death.

Darth Maul forced pushed Obi-Wan off the ledge and you panicked as you saw him fall but luckily he grabbed the edge of the floor below.

Your distraction nearly cost you your life as Darth Maul spun his lightsaber and nearly hit you but Qui-Gon force pushed him off the ledge, causing him to fall but he fell to the floor below.
