Guilt (Fox)

Imagine talking to Fox after he's done something that he'll never forget..

Okay I had to make this because Commander Fox is so underrated and hated on for killing Fives even though he was probably given direct orders to do so so yeeee. Also this will be kinda short lolz.

You were in your room, waiting for the return of your boyfriend, Fox.

You two had been hanging out until he was called over to apprehend a clone who you heard had tried to assassinate the Supreme Chancellor. The clone was CT-5555, also known as Fives, who was part of the 501st battalion.

Fox had to leave so you waited for him.

After about an hour, you heard some shouting from outside in the hallway.

"Commander Fox! Are you feeling alright sir?" asked a clone.

"I SAID JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" yelled another clone.

That must be Fox!

But why did he sound so angry? As a Jedi, you could sense his emotions.

You went into his mind to feel what was bothering him.

You could sense guilt, anger, and sadness.

What had happened during the mission that caused Fox to feel this way?

You got up and walked to your door. You then stepped out and followed him.

He was headed towards his quarters. As he marched angrily, he tore off his helmet and growled in frustration.

He made it to his room and stepped inside, the door sliding closed behind him.

You walked towards his room as carefully listened.

You could hear him yelling.

You were very worried for him.

You stepped inside the room, making sure the door closed behind you.

Fox hadn't noticed that you walked in and continued yelling in frustration.

You flinched as he threw his helmet across the room, the helmet hitting the wall.

He then got down on his knees and covered his face with his hands.

"Fox! What's the matter? " you worriedly asked.

He gasped as he realized that you were in the room with him.

"Y/n! I'm sorry you have to see me this way.." he sighed as he looked down .

"What happened?" you asked.

"The mission.." he replied.

"Did the mission not go as planned?" you asked.

"No! It went completely wrong! Fives is dead!" he wailed.

"Dead? Who killed him?" you continued asking.

"It was me! I killed him! It was my fault!" he yelled.

"Okay Fox, stay calm and tell me what happened." you said, as you placed your hands on his shoulders.

"We were told to follow the target so that's what we did..I didn't have my gun in stun mode because we were also told that the target was dangerous and I didn't really think I would need to use my weapon..Once we had cornered him, he began to get aggressive and tried to shoot at us with one of Captain Rex's guns and I panicked so I ended up shooting him! What have I done?!" he wailed.

"Hey, it's okay Fox. I know you didn't mean to kill him." you tried assuring him.

"I killed one of my brothers..I had to watch as he died.." his voice cracked.

You wrapped your arms around him and pulled him into a hug.

"It's okay. It wasn't your fault. You were just doing your duty." you calmly said.

"This will haunt me for the rest of my life.." he responded.

Lol this is so bad but oh well djdjsdh. But anyways I had to make a fanfic for Star Wars: The Clone Wars cause I haven't done any yet so yeah.
