michael kept true to his word and was outside luke's house at the time he said he would, he beeped his horn and both calum and the blond came out of the house. michael watched in the wing mirror as luke kissed his mum goodbye, and he smiled. he was happy luke had a good relationship with his mum at least.

"hi michael." calum said as he slid in the back of the truck, giving him a small smile.

michael turned around to look back at the tan boy and smiled gently at him. "hey. i'm sorry for calling you asian and stuff." he blurted out. michael had never been good with apologies.

calum's smile faltered. "oh, yeah, it's fine. hahah." he awkwardly laughed.

luke got into the truck in the back as well, sitting beside calum and smiling at michael who was smiling at him. "hi mikey." he grinned.

"hi lukey." michael chuckled and turned back around in his seat, punching tyler's address into his phone that he was using as a satnav. "let's go?"

"yeah." calum said.

michael was happy to listen to calum and luke singing along to the songs on the truck radio in the back, and turned the music up louder for them, giving them compliments on their singing as they drove to tyler's. it took a while to get there, and as soon as they got there they had the trouble of trying to find somewhere to park. everyone's cars were all piled up outside, blocking the roads for anyone else who wanted to go down there tonight.

michael knew he was twisted when he smiled at that thought.

michael slammed the truck door shut as he got out and opened luke's door so that calum and him could get out, calum mumbling a small "thanks" as he did so.

"which one is tyler's?" luke asked stupidly.

michael laughed as he locked up the truck and took luke's hand in his, calum awkwardly walking beside luke. "the one with flashing lights and a blow up pool outside." michael said, as he guided calum and luke toward that exact house.

"mike!" came a shout from one of the people in the windows right at the top of the house. they were waving their arms wildly, if he hadn't have shouted michael's name, luke would've thought there was a fire or something.

"hey niall!" michael waved up to the blond haired boy. "we'll be up soon." he called, as they finally reached the door, and pushed it open gently since it wasn't locked.

"hey mike. glad you could make it." joshua dun shouted from where he was on the stairs. luke assumed he was trying to shout over the music. the music was loud as fuck, and it already hurt luke's head.

"hey bro!" michael shouted with a laugh back.

"michael!"

luke and calum were both pushed back out of the way as a brunette with long hair wrapped her arms around michael's neck and kissed his cheek for what seemed like forever.

jealousy boiled up inside of luke.

"hey kar-"

michael was cut off by her lips crashing into his.

luke wanted to turn away and leave the house, but he stayed put, just watching with horror as the two's lips moulded together, before he saw michael gently push her off. "sorry karina, i've got a boyfriend called luke now, so don't kiss me." he said breathlessly, winking at luke, who just stood there gormlessly.
